It's hard to imagine that all of our religious/Christian activity could be a waste of time. However, that is exactly what Paul declares in I Corinthians 13. We encourage you to give attention to this message and see if your Christianity has any worth to it.

"Judge Not!!!" This has, seemingly, become the life verse of people, everywhere...even if they claim to be atheist. Many times, God's dream for our lives are not celebrated amongst those who do not know God's dream for theirs. Joseph experienced this in a very real way with his brothers, and the same thing continues today. Joseph reminds that we never need to apologize for God's plan for our lives, regardless of how 'simple' it may appear to the 'driven' of our society.

As a child of God, we can be sure of God's provision in our lives. The only thing we are commanded to do in order to secure this provision is to make his authority in our lives and doing right our primary objective. When my attitude and actions are what they should be, His provision is guaranteed.

Scripture makes clear that the Christian life is a battle. While that is so, we have this assurance that we have been properly equipped, by God, for the battles we have been assigned. Since we have been equipped, we are expected to fight. The question is: "Will we fight as we should?".

The cry of many professing believers is to sacrifice doctrine for the sake of unity. While there is an element of unity to be enjoyed among believers, an honest student of the scripture must admit that certain doctrines of the bible are essential in the Christian faith. This abbreviated message reminds us that doctrine must be held to, even when it divides us from those 'seeking unity'.

Fasting is something we seldom engage in, but something we are called to do, as Christians. We hope this message will remind us of the importance of this aspect of the Christian life.

We will invest in one of two areas of life. We will either invest in the things of this earth, which is temporal; or, we will invest in the things heaven, which is eternal. The direction of our earthly resources reveal where our heart is at. Be reminded, by this message, to invest in the things of eternity.

Christians either live a victorious or defeated life. The battleground usually takes place in our minds. Scripture commands us to take our thoughts captive and tells us what we are to think on. Tonight's message is a reminder of where we should allow our thoughts to go and where we should keep them from going. We trust it will be a help.

From the age of 17, Joseph reminds us that we can be men and women of conviction...men and women who choose to do what is right. Obedience is a choice. What will we choose?

Not one positive mentioned about this church. They were indifferent toward the things of God. They made God "sick" to his stomach. The people had no physical needs, and this blinded them to their spiritual needs. Such things are seen on a regular basis in our churches today. Something very serious to ponder.

God desires all of his churches be right with him; however, it requires an effort on the part of the believer. This message shows us what we must do if we want our relationship with the Lord to be what it should.

In the midst of the crucifixion, the disciples, as well as others, forgot a vitally important message from Christ. We to, at times, forget significant truths related to the resurrection. Give attention to the message and see if you can relate to failure of the disciples.

All of us have needs. The question is: "Where will we turn in our time of need?". Tonight's message that we should take all of our needs to the Lord before we we take them any place else. A simple, yet needed reminder.

A church with a reputation for life, but was dead. It's a scary thought to consider how many churches appear to be alive, yet are dead. Listen to this message and see if you're a member of the church of Sardis.

We have all been offended. We have all been asked to forgive. This can be hard. However, scripture teaches that Christ forgives us in the same manner in which we forgive others. When we understand this, we will have a greater burden to forgive others as we should. A thought provoking truth.

Another church that allowed false doctrine to be taught by leaders of the church while the rest sat silent. It is clear that God takes serious, the matter of doctrinal purity in the church. As such, churches today should give serious attention to the matter of doctrinal purity.

In continuing Christ words to the disciples, He told them to pray that God's will would be done on earth in the same manner in which it is done in heaven. A powerful thought for each of us to consider when we consider the response of heaven to God's will.

Pergamos... A church that held tight the name of Christ...refused to deny the faith of Jesus Christ...and tolerated the false teachings of those in the church. Such is the case today in many of our churches. Today's messages deals with the doctrines tolerated then, and today.

"Thy kingdom come." An aspect of prayer that is often overlooked. Consider this evening's message and ask yourself if you are praying according to the format given by Christ.

While the church of Smyrna may not exist in our nation at this time, it certainly exist in other portions of our world and could certainly be found in our nation in the near future. Give consideration to the letter written to this church and how it should challenge those of us living in America today.
