God Knows What He's Doing 19.08.2015 38:29
It took 13 yrs for Joseph to be moved from his position as a slave/prisoner to that of second in command. No doubt, there were times of discouragement and frustration. However, in the end, it is revealed that God knew what he was doing. Just as God knew what He was doing in Joseph's life, He also knows what He is doing in our lives.

As Jonah ran from God and explained his rebellion to the mariners on the ship, he claimed to be a man that feared God. Such a claim was not only a lie, it was ridiculous. Jonah reminds us that if we are going to claim to fear God, then our actions must prove we fear Him and surrender ourselves to His will for our lives.

When Jonah learned of God's will for his life, Jonah despised the idea. Because of this, Jonah thought he would flee from the presence of the Lord. He thought he would run to where God was not.
