While the thought of being in the hands of a living God can provide much comfort, we must also be reminded that such a thing should also provoke fear. Many times, we fail to remember all aspects of God and tonight's passage reminds us of who God is.

Everything Paul did was for the sake of the gospel. Often, we fail to have the same outlook in our lives. Consider the testimony of Paul and see it challenges and convicts the soul.

We are called to provoke others unto love and good works; and we are called to assemble. Consider how these two truths go hand in hand.

Though Solomon declared that wisdom was pointless in the face of death, there is great value in wisdom for life. Consider the truth of this message. It's worthy of our attention.

It's possible for every believer to hinder the cause of Christ in our actions. The question is whether or not we will love the Lord enough to try and avoid doing such a thing. A serious truth to consider.

Our lives will produce one or the other and it depends on something relatively simple by way of our approach to our lives. Listen and give consideration to what Solomon had to say.

If our actions cause a brother to stumble, though our actions are okay with God, then we have sinned against Christ. It can be hard to surrender our desire to that of others, but if we do not, then we are wrong.

When our appetite for knowledge is greater than it should be, we can actually learn more than we need to know. This morning's message is a good reminder to all.

Like it or not, doubt is something every believer has dealt with at least once. Tonight's message reminds us of how to deal with our doubts.

Certainly, we can become a servant to other people's opinions...many times, on issues that do not matter. It's easy to do, but wrong.

The world stops for no one and that truth can lead to despair. Consider this mornings message and how we can be helped when contemplating this simple, obvious truth.

Any relationship can be feigned; even our relationship with God. There is a vast difference between a close relationship with God and the appearance of one. This evening's message reminds us of what a genuine closeness looks like.

What do we do if we find ourselves married to a lost person? What do we do if the lost person decides to leave the marriage? Thankfully, these questions are answered in tonight's message.

As Hebrews 9 comes to a close, the author quickly inserted the simple truth that Jesus Christ is coming again. What a wonderful truth to be reminded of in this day in which we live.

In every marriage, physical needs and desires are present. God has provided the spouse to meet those needs. Tonight's message is an honest reminder of what we have been called, by God, to do on behalf of our spouse.

While it can be hard, at times, to praise the Lord, the believer always has a reason to boast and brag of God. This morning's passage reminds us of two reasons we have to praise the Lord.

Though we know what was required for our salvation, there are times we need to be reminded. Tonight's message simply tries to remind the believer of what had to take place in order for us to have salvation.

When we got saved, not only did God purchase our spirit, He also purchased our body. As such, we are to glorify Him with the body we have been given. It's harder than it sounds. Consider some of what can be implied when this passage is dealt with.

Great peace is found in knowing our confidence can be placed in the work of Christ, not ours. Listen and learn of the peace and joy that is found in no longer looking at our own works to obtain salvation

Not even Moses could escape this truth... Some sins carry a consequence that cannot be altered. Often, we tend to flirt with these kinds of sins. We need to be very cautious and use great wisdom in this area of life.

Just because we can, doesn't mean we should. In fact, the very things we can justify, could be the very things that one day control us. Consider and see if there is anything in your life that may be lawful, but not helpful.
