Often, our spouse becomes our rival and we do not treat them with the respect they deserve. Oddly enough, even 2,000 yrs ago, Paul was reminding believers what their relationships should look like with their spouses. It's still a needed message for all to give attention to.

As we grow older, we tend to become more established in or ways...which often leads to an unteachable spirit. Solomon reminds us that that is not a desirable position to find ourselves in. Listen and consider what Solomon declared.

Most struggle with addiction whether they realize or not. Tonight's message reveals an areas more of us struggle with than we care to consider. Listen and see if you struggle with addiction.

This passage reveals an amazing truth...that with God, even the little things can matter, immensely. Consider what Paul reminded the Corinthian believers of and see if there are any little things you should give attention to.

When we care about our spiritual lives and consider how often we fail in living how we know we ought to live, it's encouraging to be reminded that God knows we are nothing more than dust. This message is encourages us to remember the grace of God, while being challenged to live in obedience to Him.

Like everything else, relationships require work. Sadly, more times than not, we fail to give our relationships the attention they require. Solomon makes it clear that not only do relationships require work; they are worth it, in the end.

What a blessing to know that in this sin-filled world, we can raise children who are saved and serve the Lord. While this is encouraging, the passage reveals what is helpful in the process. Listen and be encouraged!

From heaven to earth, God has a structure of authority. As a result, we need to know who are authority is and what it means when we rebel against that authority.

The success of others often stirs up jealousy in the hearts of others. Such an attitudes is ugly on many levels. Not only that, it serves us no purpose and only makes our lives miserable. Consider what Solomon had to say about the subject. It could be of help.

So little is said about Enoch. Yet, what is said says so much. While many things could be said of our lives, could these two things be said of us?

The Christian life requires personal sacrifice, at times, for the benefit of others. If we fail to realize this, we will live in selfishness and be an offense to others, unknowingly. We should be willing to consider the question: "What have I given up for others?".

Often, it is easy to criticize authority, yet we seldom think about how that same attitude will be directed toward us, by others. It's important to consider that all of us will reap what we have sown when it comes to our attitude toward authority.

Well after death, the testimony of Abel continued to speak to generations of God's people. We should consider and give attention to what we will be speaking from the grave when our lives come to an end.

When we try to live for the Lord, while living for the world, things are not going to go the way we planned. This passage reminds us of what the consequence will be when a person tries to live a dual life.

There is a reason God has established His authority in the lives of mankind, and it's actually for our own good. Consider what Solomon declared as he wrote of God's unalterable word.

It's hard to remember, at times, that our lives are only a small piece of the greater puzzle of this world. Solomon was reminded that God makes everything beautiful in His time and our existence is one piece of that beautiful picture.

The writer of Hebrews knew his audience needed a pep talk in their Christian life. At times, we need to hear these same thoughts. Consider the message and apply it where it's needed, as it's needed.

The scripture is clear that when a believer lives in sin, it's because of their personal choice. God has made a way of escape if we want to take advantage of it.

In Ecclesiastes 3, Solomon explains a rule that governs the lives all men. He then illustrates how the rule plays out in the lives of all people. How we respond to this rule says much about us, as believers.

So many things in life are exciting, at first. However, over time, things can change. This is also true in our spiritual lives. The writer of Hebrews seeks to encourage his readers in staying patient in their spiritual lives and remembering what their lives looked like when they first got saved.

Paul encouraged believers to give caution in their attitude because it was possible for them to assume they were stronger in their faith than what they really were. In light of this, Paul also gave them some things to look at as warning signs of a possible spiritual collapse.

The Christian life demands discipline, but it requires a choice on our part. Paul not only explains his choice to discipline himself; he also explains why.

For most of us, we have a hard time enjoying where we're at because we're looking ahead to the next stage of life. Solomon's words remind us of the great need to just enjoy today and not be consumed with the future.

In the midst of David's distress, one thought changed his outlook and attitude in a dramatic manner. Such a thought can also be used to change our outlook and attitude if we allow it to do so.

As Solomon came to grips with his own immortality, he realized his possessions would be left to others. This caused him great great. Such an attitude reveals how much he loved the things of this world. While we may be far from Solomon's financial status, many of us are like him in that we are very attached to the things of this world.
