Drama. There's nothing new about it. Even the writer of Hebrews had to confront a measure of drama among believers in their day. Tonight's message reminds us that things may not be as bad as we tend to envision them.

Will we pursue love as commanded in scripture? The choice is ours. If we choose not to, Paul reminds us that our "Christian" activity is pointless. Tonight's passage is a sobering truth.

While there is still much for us to learn, we are already known, by God, completely and entirely. Tonight's message reminds us that we have no secrets with God.

We have a tendency to start thinking we know what the future holds when in reality, we have no idea what lies ahead. This morning's message reminds us that our days are limited, we do not know when this life will come to a close, therefore, we should live each day to the fullest.

Some things in life just make sense. They do not need to be argued or proven. Any honest person knows "it" to be true. Consider what the writer of Hebrews shared with fellow Jews. If we are honest, it still makes sense.

In tonight's passage the Apostle Paul continues to explain the important of love in the life of a believer. We often overlook this truth, but it is a truth we need to be reminded of over and over again.

Mother's Day Message 2017

Everyone has struggles. Everyone wants to quit, at times. Whatever the struggle, whatever the difficulty, it is in those moments that we need to focus on Him. Tonight's message reminds us why we should focus on Christ.

Again, Solomon expresses his desire for individuals to enjoy life; however, he also realized the need to work at the things you want to enjoy. Today's message is a challenge to those who suggest they want to enjoy all God has provided.

No matter the person, they are incomplete without Christ. Tonight's message reminds us of this truth and also provides a challenge in light of this truth.

Sometimes, biblical love is not given the attention it deserves. Tonight, we look at Paul's words to the believers in Corinth and we are reminded of how important biblical love is.

Paul continues to define what biblical love looks like. Listen and consider how we are challenged to love those God brings into our lives. It's not easy to love as we are called to love.

Solomon reminds us in this passage that there are limits to every persons understanding. Whether it be in the affairs of this world or in the spiritual realm of things, we will not understand everything and it's okay to be limited. Listen and consider how this may apply to you and your situation.

Hebrews 11 reminds us that it is possible to live in such a way that this world did not deserve to have us living amongst them. If we want such a thing to be said of us, then it will require action on our part. It's not easy, but it is possible.

Paul continues to explain what biblical love looks like in tonight's passage. Once again, the list is challenging and convicting. Listen and consider what Paul shared with the believers of Corinth.

With all the activity surrounding the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ, the reality is: Life continued on, for everyone. So...for the disciples, what happened after the resurrection? This evening's message gives us a glimpse into what took place.

When judgment/punishment against lawlessness is slow, people tend to grow more bold in their actions. Such is often the case with believers. This mornings message reminds us that we should never abuse the grace and patience of God, but rather, His grace should motivate us to repent when we sin. Consider the simple truth of this message.

It's amazing to consider that of all the people listed in Hebrews 11, Rahab is among the examples of faith. Her appearance in Hebrews 11 reminds us that our past does not define what we become...and if Rahab could become a woman of great faith, anyone can become a person of great faith.

There is a difference between biblical love and what the world portrays as love. Tonight's message is one of several reminding us of what true love looks and acts like.

As Solomon observed the ways of man, he discovered that even a persons face would gave indication as to whether or not that person was walking according to true, godly wisdom. This message reminds us that our face says it all about our approach to everyday life and the situations we face.

While faith is primarily an individual issue, scripture seems to indicate there are times that faith must be a cooperative process. Listen and consider the words of Hebrews 11:29-30.

When one member of the body of Christ suffers, the entire body suffers. While that is true, often times, Christians are too selfish to see this. Paul's words remind us of what the Christian's life should look like in relation to the body of Christ.

As Solomon searched for wisdom and understanding, he came to a conclusion that still rings true today. He concluded that while man is "good", we tend to think we have a better idea/plan than God. This thought is something every believer needs to give serious attention to.

We seldom think about "this kind" of faith, but Moses is an incredible example of a faith for discipline. If this title makes no sense, we encourage you to listen to the message. It's possible you may need the same kind of faith Moses had in this area of your life.

As Christ ministered, something he was always able to do, was: "See the multitudes." For many of us, we get so wrapped up in our own personal lives that we no longer see the multitudes in front of us. As a result, we lose our burden for them. Tonight's passage reminded us of so many important truths. We hope it's a help and blessing to each who listen.
