When the priests of the Old Testament offered sacrifices of bulls and goats for the sins of the people, it had to be repeated over and over again. After Christ came to this earth and shed his blood for the sins of the world, no other sacrifice has to be made for sin ever again. This Sunday, we look at Hebrews 10:1-18 and meditate on this sacrifice and a God who remembers our sins no more. 

The Old Testament priests had to appear again and again in the temple to deal with the people’s sin. This cycle is now broken. Jesus appeared once and for all to bear our sins. Soon he will appear again—not to bear sins—but to bring us salvation.
