Last week we welcomed a guest preacher, Ps Gideon Lim. We were exhorted to reflect on the reality of God’s love for us, as beautifully expressed in 1 John 4:7–21. We learned that God’s love is most clearly shown in Jesus. Because he bore our sins on the cross, we need not be afraid of God, but can revere him without fear of punishment. How great is that!
