Knicks in 5!!! 18.06.2026 30:36
No one was a bigger Knicks fan than our brother Adam. So when the Knicks finally won their first championship in 53 years, there was no way we weren't coming together to celebrate. The Knicks are champions. We still can't quite believe we're typing those words. In this episode, we're talking about a win that felt bigger than basketball. The hope. The city. The joy. A team that truly feels like a f...
NY or Nothing with Cousin Jeff 03.06.2026 48:14
Knicks in the Finals…..Cousin Jeff on the mic…..no notes. This week, it’s just Holly and CJ—talking ‘94, Madison Square Garden, and the energy of New York then vs now…..and why this run feels different (in a good way…..and a hard way). We get into family, Syrian grandmothers, busting balls as a love language, and why sports somehow ends up being the glue for everything. And yeah…..we talk about Ad...
The One With Ro 24.04.2026 39:08
There are some people you meet in life who just feel different. Ro is one of them. She came into Adam’s life in 2021, and it’s no surprise she was the one who had his heart. She’s truly one of a kind. Someone special, funny, strong AF… and someone who shows up in a way that changes the people around her. This conversation is about them. How they met, the fun they had, the concerts, the trips and t...
The One With His Friends 23.04.2026 1:22:01
This Friday marks two years of Going Thru It… and it’s Adam’s birthday. So this week, we did what felt right. We sat down with three of the people who knew him best. Christopher Salviano. Zak Kaslow. Jonathan Collazo. Three friends. Three completely different relationships. Three versions of Adam that somehow all feel exactly the same. We talk Jersey childhood memories, Knicks games, college roomm...
A Proper Catch Up 26.03.2026 26:16
No guest. No agenda. Just a long overdue catch-up. Holly's in Hawaii.... but it's rained nonstop, the power's out and we've somehow been to the movies three times already. We talk Jill's London trip without Luca and what it actually looks like to step back into your "old life." There's a little bit of everything - plus Survivor chaos, Oscars discourse and why Holly's algorithm is currently all c...
Oscar Sunday: Hollywood Dreams & Magic with Brett Gursky 13.03.2026 1:04:16
Oscar Sunday is here, and with Jill out, we’re joined by friend, fellow Jersey kid, and Hollywood multi-hyphenate Brett Gursky for Going Thru It ’s official-but-unofficial Oscars episode. We go way back with Brett to our college study abroad days, when we sat at a bar in London pitching movie ideas and talking about moving to LA to work in Hollywood. Somehow, we both actually kind of did. In this...
Control Is an Illusion with Mickey Rapkin 26.02.2026 49:57
It’s one of those weeks where the headlines feel uncomfortably close to home. Between James Van Der Beek’s death from colorectal cancer and Eric Dane’s ALS diagnosis, it’s hard not to think about your own health and mortality. So we brought on our friend Mickey Rapkin — journalist, author, former GQ editor, and yes, the guy who wrote Pitch Perfect before it became a major studio franchise. In Augu...
Take On Me 12.02.2026 25:55
Super Bowl Sunday is an actual holiday in the Shakoor family. This week we’re talking hosting, nostalgia, the collective viewing experience, and why the West Coast kickoff time just hits different. Jill’s back at work with mat leave officially in the rearview mirror and the whiplash is real. Holly starts a writing class and immediately spirals after reading something very personal out loud. Vulner...
Radically Honest with Sophie Ragir 29.01.2026 56:46
We recorded this on January 9th, when things in our world already felt heavy. But by the time this episode airs (January 29th), it somehow feels even heavier… so we’re really grateful for conversations like this one. We’re joined by Sophie Ragir, a coach and creative who’s lived through major loss and came out the other side with a clarity we honestly found inspiring. We talk about grief (the mess...
Back to Life, Back to Reality 16.01.2026 42:27
Christmas in Hawaii was actual magic—rainbows, beach days, family chaos, and a surprise Grandma touchdown. Then came the brutal part: leaving. We talk about why saying goodbye to a trip can feel like grief (even when it’s technically just a vacation) and how different our lives look on the other side of it. We unpack the post-trip comedown, the same-family-different-lives dynamic, and what it look...
Happy Thanksgiving Back 18.12.2025 30:47
It’s our 52nd episode (WHAT?!?)—and our last one of 2025. In this episode, we check in from two very different places: Jill is finally seeing the light at the end of her solo-parenting tunnel, while Holly is just stepping into hers (again). They recap Thanksgiving, debate holiday cards (to send or not to send… also, who cares?), unpack Christmas villages, and revisit family trauma from the HomeGoo...
Calling in the Helpers with Laura Veras 05.12.2025 37:44
Life doesn’t give you a map for the moments that matter most - birth, loss, and everything in between. So when Jill had Luca, she called in a professional: postpartum doula and all-around force, Laura Veras. While the term "doula" tends to get thrown around a lot (especially in LA), Laura is special. Her journey to becoming a postpartum healer came at a time in her life when death and birth collid...
Siblings, Loss and the Long Game. A Conversation with Stephanie Wittels Wachs 21.11.2025 56:39

We talk about losing her brother, Harris Wittels , the anger that showed up early in her grief, and how learning more about addiction as a disease changed everythin...
F*CK Cancer. A Bonus Episode with Jack + Goldie 06.11.2025 36:25
Bonus Drop! Inspired by our recent conversation with Jenna Sackman, we decided to talk to kids about grief.....so we let Jack and Goldie take the mics for this episode. There are Knicks takes, Uncle Adam memories, and a few surprisingly wise moments we did not see coming. It’s loose, a little chaotic, and extremely on brand. Kids just get it in ways we adults tend to overcomplicate. Connect with U...
"There Is No Life Without Death" — Talking Grief, Family, and Healing with Jenna Sackman 30.10.2025 46:04

We talk about family grief, how to talk to kids about loss, and what it means to keep moving forward when someone you...
Wheels Up 16.10.2025 30:49
We are back after Hollys 10 day stint in LA serving as Jill’s Chief of Staff. We catch up on everything from the onboarding process with husbands, inappropriate yet brilliant baby Halloween costumes, to our dad’s unique verbiage surrounding death. We may not have had our A24/Fox Searchlight movie moment this trip, but at least Adam found a way to make sure we knew he was right there with us for it...
Between Art + Loss. A Conversation With Jared Ryan Shaw 02.10.2025 40:04
In this episode, Holly sits down with her longtime friend, artist and creative Jared Ryan Shaw. Jared and Holly grew up together in Wayne, NJ (07470 YOU KNOW!!), and every time they talk it feels like stepping into a time capsule — from middle school memories to their love of Saved by the Bell. They get into separation anxiety, addiction, and the loss of Jared’s father, and how creativity has wove...

In this episode we talk about the strange timing of life, how grief and joy keep showing up together and what it's like to be back in a season of anticipation, just for something completely different. Holl...
"I Can Do It With a Broken Heart....." 03.07.2025 29:15
Summer is here! But the vibes are.... complicated. Holly’s out on the North Fork while Jill’s in LA counting down the final weeks of her pregnancy and things aren’t exactly picture-perfect. Like the wise T Swift once said, “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,” we talk about how often we find ourselves doing hard things in the middle of emotional chaos… and still managing to show up, smile, and get th...

Sisters, Stories, Secrets and the Song of Summer 19.06.2025 59:40

This episode dives into all the complexities sur...
