Here we find admonition from the Apostle to the Galatian church to be mindful of the truth that has justified them was by faith and not by the law. He reminding them of the promise God made to Abraham. The truth will make you free. The gospel of Jesus Christ should not be twisted to suit the carnal desires of man but hold fast to the gospel, the eternal promises of God. Christianity seems to be filled with deceit and despair because many leaders are falsely persuaded by filthy lucre and have not come to the full knowledge of the intended purpose of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Paul encourages the Saints as we should be encouraged now, that we are building on the foundation laid by Jesus Christ.

We are admonished by the apostle and reminded that we cannot please God living contrary to his instructions. But, if we live by his word, we know and have assurance by the in dwelling of the Christ of God; that in that great day when Jesus shall descend in the clouds with the trump of God, coming to get the righteous ones of God, we will be able to go back with him.

This is a demonstration of the power that God has made available to those that will live according to the will of God. How awesome it is that God has provided humanity with divine power but humanity continues to let Satan manipulate it to the point that we are where we are, spiritually. Isn’t it a shame what we, the people of God have access to and won’t use it or don’t qualify to use it?

This is wisdom for all of humanity when it comes to salvation. Jesus said a man must be born again of the water and of the spirit. Then live our lives in compliance with the plans of God for who will and will not enter into the Kingdom of God. Jesus one day is coming to get the righteous to take them to heaven with God. Will you be ready?

The apostle John salutes the seven churches of Asia; and declares when, where, and how, the revelation of Jesus Christ was made to him; to declare it to the Pastors of the seven churches in Asia Minor. The identity of God is made and a description of the son was made clear to John.

Here the apostle exhorts the church to stedfastness in the faith. He warns the people of the potential danger of being infected by false teachers and preachers, of the dreadful punishment which shall be inflicted on them and their followers.

Here again we learn the importance and power of effectual and sincere prayer. This prayer is for Brother Gaius to regain his health and possessions that were wrongfully taken. The wisdom of this prayer is for us to follow the doctrine of Jesus Christ, no matter what and God will be with us.

In this letter of commendation to a particular mother in the church for her demonstration of love and obedience to the gospel of Jesus Christ. She is praised for her nurturing her children in the same fashion in that they too, demonstrate love and compassion.

We learn here of the inspiration of God to have his people know the new covenant or agreement that he provided for humanity without humanity‘s input that was demonstrating his mercy and love provided a more excellent way.

This story epitomizes true love. Paul praises the brethren for their love for him is thankful for how they constantly aided him. But now he is asking them to demonstrate that same love to brother Onesimus who has been born again now, and helping him.

Again, here we find instructions and commands to be mindful of our character, particularly as the children of God. Here there is admonition to conduct our lives in obedience to God and those in charge of managing natural affairs in our lives.

Apostle Paul on this particular occasion, from his own experiences shared what to expect from people in the church. He was preparing Timothy for his own pastorate and spiritual leadership. He was encouraging Timothy to be prepared for hostility, rejection, and denial when it comes to embracing and following the gospel of Jesus Christ.

During these times as were in the era of the Apostle Paul and his spiritual son Timothy we should give earnest heed to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We learn here how Paul blessed the Thessalonians for their faithfulness and their concern for each other. He also requested their prayers for him as he would against much opposition go on to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He also then as we should today beware of the people we allow into our lives; people that make it obvious that they don’t reverence and acknowledge God.

The apostle reminds the Thessalonians of his preaching and behaviour. He reminds them of the purpose of the gospel, as we should today, that is bring a man out of sin and the darkness of following the rudiments of man’s wisdom into the brightness of soul salvation.

Those ways of life we once lived, before God’s forgiveness and kingdom acceptance we are compelled to denounce and help others to come out of the darkness that many are still in and don’t know that that they don’t know.
