In this we learn from God through Apostle Paul how we should live by the Holy Scriptures; and that we be mindful of our character and how we treat everyone. The gospel of Jesus Christ should not be twisted to suit the carnal desires of man but hold fast to the gospel, the eternal promises of God.

Here we learn that Paul reproves the Corinthian Saints for their contentions. He insists upon them remembering as we should now, that believers can do nothing without the Christ of God.

We are admonished by the apostle and reminded that we cannot please God living contrary to his instructions. But, if we live by his word, we know and have assurance by the in dwelling of the Christ of God; that in that great day when Jesus shall descend in the clouds with the trump of God, coming to get the righteous ones of God, we will be able to go back with him.

This is a demonstration of how, “If God be for us He is more than the whole world against us”. “Since God is for us, who can be against us”.

We abide in Him by the baptism of the Holy Ghost having the indwelling of the Christ of God that will empower us to be caught up to meet the Lord in the air and then forever be with the Lord.

Here those of us that are desirous of magnifying the intended purpose of the gospel of Jesus Christ are being taught how important it is to repent, to forgive, and to seek to restore one another after any offense; however usual or unusual.

From this chapter of the holy Scriptures we are blessed to be able to understand the love of God. That is that he gave his only begotten son that said that no man would take his life but he would lay it down for humanity‘s redemption.

Jesus was teaching His disciples the importance of forgiveness and reconciliation. He made it very clear that anyone that have hopes of living in eternity with Him that individual or those persons should see everyone as having purpose and so entreat them.

God here reminds the people that they were following the wisdom of the generations before them. Robbing God by forsaking to follow his command of giving back to him, through the church, the tithe or the tenth and an offering of our earnings we are in disobedience.

Who can tell if God will return and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not? To me I see a wisdom here; that is, to obey is better than sacrifice.

Consistency is one of the greatest attributes of God. He always has warned before sending destruction and devastation. Destruction and devastation would only visit the people of God after constant disrespect and and disobedience to Him.

What we should learn from this message is that we should be patient and wait to understand our leading from the Lord. Then do what he tells us. That wisdom is in the scriptures.

God’s love and compassion for his chosen people reminded them then and now grants forgiveness to those that let go of people, philosophies and doctrines contrary to the will of God.
