In these seven verses John is addressing the angel of the church of Ephesus and emphasizes appreciation for the love that they have demonstrated one for another and for the disdain they have for those that have to some degree gone contrary to the gospel that saved them. However, this was a warning for the church to get back to where they were before they violated the rule of God.

Excuses won't suffice

Here the apostle exhorts the church to stedfastness in the faith. He warns the people of the potential danger of being infected by false teachers and preachers, of the dreadful punishment which shall be inflicted on them and their followers.

John the elder/pastor prays for brother Gaius, a very compassionate, faithful, reliable, genuine Saint in the church that was suffering with poor health and that while sick some had illegally, deceitfully, and intentionally taken his possessions.

In this passage of scripture we can understand that as God had chosen and is still choosing those that have the indwelling of His spirit to be demonstrators of the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We should know by now that we are what we do; because talk is easy.

The wisdom here is a reminder of Christ's final coming to judgement; and that He will appear and when he does the people won’t be ready, and I might say, even now by what we see and hear and are experiencing it is very rare to find readiness for the Lord Jesus Christ.

A warning to comply with the Word of God.

Apostle James is continuing to reach out to his brethren those of the household of faith, the chosen of God, the 12 tribes of Israel. This is inspiration for us to understand the necessity for salvation; and once we are saved we are to live by the instructions of the gospel so that others will also understand.

This story epitomizes true love. Paul praises the brethren for their love for him is thankful for how they constantly aided him. But now he is asking them to demonstrate that same love to brother Onesimus who has been born again now, and helping him.

Here Apostle Paul greets Titus and provides instruction and wisdom from experience as to how he should move forward in his ministry.

Here we recognize Paul’s admiration for his spiritual son, Timothy, and is encouraging him to how fast to the truth that he knows that he Timothy has learned. Even so today, we should keep each other encouraged in the Lord.

In this we realize wisdom shared by the Apostle Paul to his spiritual son Timothy. He is warning Timothy to hold fast to the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ and not deceived by false teachings coming from those that have been deceived by Satan to teach doctrines contrary to the plans of God for his people to live in obedience, with joy and thanksgiving.

From this passage of scripture we learn that Paul praised the Thessalonians for their faithfulness and their concern from each other. He also requested their prayers for him as he would against much opposition go on to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The apostle reminds the Thessalonians of his preaching and behaviour. He reminds them of the purpose of the gospel, as we should today, that is bring a man out of sin and the darkness of following the rudiments of man”s wisdom into the brightness of soul salvation .

We should learn how we are admonished from experience how to treat others; whether believers or not. Persons that have supervision over others should be very mindful of the wisdom of Jesus Christ; as you would that others do unto you do ye also unto them.

In this we learn from God through Apostle Paul how we should live by the Holy Scriptures; in that we be mindful of our character and how we treat everyone. Demonstrate the love of God our father by loving each other as much as lieth within us. In doing so God will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory.

In this passage of scripture we should recognize the fact that those that are blessed to be a part of the church of Jesus Christ is because of God’s agape’ love for humanity. No one can buy salvation; deceive God and sneak in, or do enough to be chosen one over another.

Here we find admonition from the Apostle to the Galatian church to be mindful of the truth that has justified them was by faith and not by the law. He reminding them of the promise God made to Abraham.

The gospel of Jesus Christ should not be twisted to suit the carnal desires of man but hold fast to the gospel, the eternal promises of God. Christianity seems to be filled with deceit and despair because many leaders are falsely persuaded by filthy lucre and have not come to the full knowledge of the intended purpose of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Here we learn that Paul reproves the Corinthian Saints for their contentions. He insists upon them remembering as we should now, that believers can do nothing without the Christ of God. Paul encourages the Saints as we should be encouraged now, that we are building on the foundation laid by Jesus Christ.
