Honestly, the fact that this is an educational film probably explains a lot about First Nations/Anglo race relations since the eighties. Skip the movie, read some Thomas King or Sherman Alexie books instead (or watch Smoke Signals , based on Alexie's short story collection, Tonto and the Lone Ranger Fistfight in Heaven ).
