Father reads a reflection from Pope Benedict about Freedom in regard to today’s Gospel reading. Jesus achieves freedom through obedience to the Father. Freedom is only useful if one offers it up as gift as Jesus did on his way to the cross.

Today we honor the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Mary Pondered all that Jesus did in her heart. We are called to mirror Mary in this way. Let us strive to imitate the Immaculate Heart of Mary and have a heart that is pure and open to God’s will for us today.
