Forget Me Not

Take a moment today to reflect: Can you say with Peter, “Lord, I have given up everything to follow You”? Are there things you still hold back, afraid to fully surrender to Christ? Ask yourself what areas of your life need deeper trust and sacrifice. Let Jesus’ promise encourage you, when you give everything to Him, He gives back more than you could ever dream. 

Reflect today on the praise you offer and receive. Are you influenced by misguided praise? Do you compliment others in a way that aligns with God's truth? Strive to let your words and your heart be guided by God’s wisdom, seeking only the praise that comes from Him. 

Take time today to ask yourself: Do I truly want to be perfect? Am I willing to let go of anything that hinders my relationship with God? If you embrace Jesus’ answer, you will gain far more than you could ever lose. 

Take time today to reflect on your mission to be fully trained in Christ. God wants to live in you and act through you. He wants you to be like Him in every way. Reflect today on whether you approach God with the simplicity and trust of a child. Are there areas in your life where you still cling to control, fearing to surrender completely? Ask God for the grace to let go and to rest in His loving care.

Reflect today on how you approach difficult conversations. Are you open, patient, and seeking understanding like the crowds? Or do you, even unintentionally, approach discussions with a Pharisaical mindset, looking for faults or ammunition? If we cultivate humility and sincerity in our communication, we open the door to genuine reconciliation and deeper unity.

Reflect today on those in your life who are struggling in their faith. Ask yourself: Do my words and actions draw them closer to Christ or push them further away? Am I patient and merciful, while also remaining firm in truth? Seek to become a bridge to Christ, not a stumbling block.

Reflect today on the truth that all Christians are on the same team, working toward the glory of God and the salvation of souls. Consider your attitude toward those who serve Him effectively. If you recognize jealousy, envy, or criticism in your heart, ask God to replace those feelings with gratitude. Rejoice in the many ways He works through others, knowing that His grace is unlimited.

Reflect today on how much time you spend alone with God. Do you seek out moments of silence where He can speak to you? If you have chosen to follow Him fully, make space for these moments. In solitude, God’s voice becomes clearer, deepening your faith and understanding.

Reflect on any temptation you have overcome, only to later struggle with it again. Consider the importance of ongoing vigilance, not just avoiding past sins but continually moving forward in holiness. The evil one does not give up, but God’s grace is stronger. Keep your eyes fixed on Him so that you never slip back into darkness.

Today, reflect on the depth of God's love for you. It is greater than anything you can comprehend. Open yourself fully to His kindness, generosity, and mercy, and let it overflow into the lives of those around you, both the good and the difficult. Do not hesitate, for God never hesitates with you.

Reflect today on your own relationship with the Church. If past scandals or divisions have discouraged you, bring those wounds to God in prayer. Ask Him to help you see His hand at work, even in difficult times. Reaffirm your trust in His promise and rejoice in the gift of the Church, a beacon of hope and truth that will stand until the end of time. 

Reflect today on what truly fulfills you. Ask God to help you detach from anything that stands in the way of your relationship with Him. Be honest about what draws your heart and give it to Him in prayer. He will take those desires, transform them, and fill you with the only treasure that lasts forever: His love and grace. 

Reflect today on how you would answer Jesus’ question: “Who do YOU say that I am?” Do you believe He is the Christ, the Savior of the world? And do you recognize your own need for Him, not just in moments of weakness, but always? Let your response be one that goes beyond words. Let it be a response of faith, surrender, and trust in His saving mission.

If so, you can be sure that God’s grace is at work in your life, bringing deep interior change. Today, reflect on anyone in your life with whom you often argue, especially about matters of faith. Think about changing your approach. Rather than debating, show them your heart, just as Jesus did with His holy sigh. Pray for them, trust in God’s timing, and let your quiet sorrow become an invitation for grace to enter their lives. 

Take time today to reflect on your own spiritual life. Are you more like the saint, striving for holiness, or the sinner caught in serious struggles? Depending on where you are, choose the teaching that speaks to your current need. Do you need to reflect on the rewards of growing in holiness, or do you need Jesus’ warnings to help you turn from sin? Be honest with yourself and allow Jesus’ teachin...

Today, reflect on your own priorities. What matters more, your next meal or your faith? These don’t have to be in opposition, but your love for God should always come first. Picture yourself among that crowd, choosing to stay with Jesus despite hunger. Make that same choice in your own life, keeping Him at the center of everything you do.

Take time today to reflect on this Gospel scene. Think about the friends who brought the deaf man to Jesus. Ask God to use you in the same way. Pray for those in your life who need His healing and offer yourself as an instrument of His voice. 

Take time today to reflect on her example. Read her words again and again. Let her humility, hope, and love inspire you. Ask God for the grace to follow in her footsteps, trusting in His mercy and seeking His blessings for yourself and others. 

Today, reflect on this list of sins. Name the ones that have taken root in your life. See them for what they are, and let yourself despise them with holy determination. Then turn to Jesus. As you acknowledge your struggles and reject sin, He will strengthen and purify your heart, transforming you into the beloved child of God you were created to be. 

How do you approach worship? Do you see the Mass as an encounter with the living God, or has it become just another weekly routine? Reflect on how you can deepen your interior participation. Perhaps it’s by preparing beforehand with prayer, meditating on the readings, or consciously offering each part of the Mass to God with gratitude and love.

Reflect today on the desire that drove the sick and their families to Jesus. Do you have that same burning desire to run to Him for the healing of your soul? If not, ask for the grace to long for His mercy as deeply as they longed for physical healing. Jesus is always ready to restore and renew us, if only we come to Him with faith and trust.

What is the "deep water" God is calling you to? Maybe it’s stepping out in faith in a relationship, a ministry, or a personal challenge. Whatever it is, Jesus' words to Peter echo for us too: *Do not be afraid.* If we trust and obey, He will take our ordinary and turn it into something extraordinary.
