Mark 16:6-7: At the end of Mark, the angel of the empty tomb tells the women visiting the tomb that Jesus has risen. He bids them to go and tell Jesus’ disciples and Peter that Jesus will meet them in Galilee. Even after Peter had denied his Lord three times, Jesus seeks a special reconciliation with the disciple who first called him the Christ – Peter. Jesus and Peter have a family reunion.
