Biblical Relationships Q&A

Rick picked up where Stephen left off... :)

This is a continuation from last Sunday’s message... establishing proper leadership, our daily perspective, and having proper strength and courage is critical to building properly on the foundation of Jesus Christ.

Right after God establishes the relationships between himself and mankind and Adam and Eve, Satan shows up to destroy everything... We need to understand this in order to have proper relationships.

After Salvation you must build properly on the foundation the Lord Jesus Christ made for you when he purchased your soul with his precious blood. If you don’t build right, you’ll have to go back and tear things down in order to rebuild properly!!

The relationship that we have between our creator is the most important one we could ever have in this life. Only through our relationship with the Lord we can understand all other relationships. This is what we see in Genesis chapters 1, 2, and 3. We must obey these principles in order to have good relationships with each other.

Learning to walk with God is one of the most important things that we can pursue in this life. The book of Joshua lays out for us everything we need to know to follow the Lord Jesus Christ and defeat giants and conquer our promised land on a personal, devotional level.

It’s that time again for us to go over Biblical Relationships! This study is key for every aspect of our life. In this lesson we talk about our need to humbly and willingly hear what God has to say and change our way of thinking. Our relationship with the Lord will determine our ability to have healthy, real, and fruitful relationships everywhere else!

Why do we have a youth ministry at FBCJ? Why should you be involved in our youth ministry?

Are you prepared for camp and the things God desires to teach you, show you, and change in you? We need to be prepared to submit ourselves to the Lord... this message is what we need to do this week.

Are you ready for our annual summer camp? This message is intended to prepare your heart as you prepare to head to camp, which is just over a week away... Romans 12:1-2 is a critical passage we need to consider.

How can we know Adam and Eve we’re the first humans? Does God love the devil?

Do modern-day magicians use devils in their magic? What does the Bible say about condemning cussing, drugs, drinking, etc.?

Since men wrote the Bible, doesn’t that mean the Bible is flawed and contains errors?

Why is Christianity exclusive? What about other religions and other “ways” to God?

Now that we are in the New Testament period, does that mean the Old Testament should be completely done away with?

Will we have different personalities in heaven? Will we know each other? What about marriage?

What about dinosaurs?

When we pray we have fellowship with the trinity.... wow!! What an honour.

Praying with Importunity is the real test of our faith. This means taking things to God in prayer continually, without ceasing, and fainting not. This is something that we need to consider and practice daily.

Remembering God's Goodness

Prayer in the secret place is the true test of a faithful born again believer. God honors prayer which is done in secret to be seen of no one else.

Waiting on the Lord is one of the most difficult things to learn in life, but it is the most rewarding when we biblically obey. We all need to heed these truths.
