John's harshest criticism was directed at those who pretended to be godly, but in reality were not. They had not genuinely repented.

This doesn't mean we will never face trials, hardship or sadness, but it does mean we can face such times with a peace that passes all understanding.

This is why we should walk by faith and not by sight, so that by keeping the eternal truths of the Gospel before us, we might never be hopeless.

Our redemption was not purchased cheaply. God the Father loved the Son, and yet gave Him up for our salvation.

The prophecies concerning the Messiah include the idea that He would be a 'shepherd King' - someone who would truly care for His people, and someone who would ultimately die for them.

In this sermon Pastor Greg unpacks Matthew's claim that Jesus is the climax of the entire Old Testament!

God is still in the business of rescuing people today! He does this in a profoundly personal way. We don't just have a God that rescues but, in Jesus, we have a rescuer who is God. Our faith is in Him for our eternal rescue - but also for the everyday rescue we need from our daily struggle with sin and self.

God knows we are good at forgetting and so he has set things in place to help us remember Him, and what He's done for us. This Sunday we will look at the first Passover. God told these people how to be protected from His wrath and judgment and He also instructed them to celebrate this event every year so they would never forget what He had done. As New Testament believers our faith should motivate...

As we continue looking at Moses' faith, we will see that he had many things to be afraid of, but none greater than the God that he served.

Moses willingly gives up all the blessings and privileges of being part of Egypt's royal family to be included with, and identified as, one of God's people.

And yet, we often don't live like children of God. This Sunday, we will look into what it means for us to live as adopted children in God's family.
