Psalm 34:18. Pastor Jeff Swanson shares the heart of the Savior for the brokenhearted around the world. 

Isaiah 32:1-8. Isaiah prophesies of a time when a king will reign without corruption. He will rule righteously, giving His people discernment and truth.

Ephesians 6:10-17. Paul exhorts believers to stand firm in the midst of the present supernatural war that's being waged against us. We are also reminded of the sure defense that is ours in Christ.

Isaiah 65:1-2. Where is God when I needed Him? We ask ourselves that question when times are difficult because it seems as though God is distant. We don't feel or sense Him near us. The Israelites went through the same experience. The LORD speaks through Isaiah to address that very question.

Matthew 9:1-9. In the midst of a chaotic scene, Jesus sees and declares invisible realities, realities that He makes known through the miracle He performed.

Matthew 22:34-46. There are a lot of distractions in this world to keep us occupied. Jesus is asked what's of most importance. In giving His answer, He points the crowd back to the Law. Then, Jesus quickly redirects the focus of the hearers to a greater question to see not only what must be done, but what God has done.

1 Samuel 2:1-10. Hannah's response to the Lord's reversing her lot in life results in a wonderful prayer of praise.

Ephesians 3:13-21. Paul lets the Ephesians know his prayers for them, revealing God's desire for these people and all people.

Matthew 6:24-34. Jesus identifies the impossibility of trying to serve two masters and highlights the superiority of serving God. At the end of the passage, Jesus calls His listeners to an undivided pursuit of God. 

Jeremiah 17:13-14. God's people had been given every opportunity for success, they had everything they needed. Unfortunately, they got distracted, looking to what the world had to offer to satisfy their needs. The LORD warns them through Jeremiah of the disappointment and shame to which that path leads. In stark contrast to the peoples' unbelief, Jeremiah expresses his clear belief in the LORD.

Leviticus 18:1-5. The LORD gives His people instructions for how they are to live with regard to sexual conduct in light of the culture that surrounds them. 

2 Corinthians 3:1-11. Paul responds to the crowd clamoring for his letter of commendation. He explains to them they are all the letter he needs as they have been branded by the Spirit through the Word brought to them by Paul. Believers today share the same mark of the Spirit.

2 Samuel 22:21-29. Towards the end of David's life, he shares a song of praise to the LORD. His song of praise strikes us a little off because we know about David. He seems to be forgetting some key events in his life. Hear how the LORD allows David to declare such things about himself that appear to be so self-righteous, and how we can share in David's confidence.

Jeremiah 7:1-7. Jeremiah calls out his peoples' superstitious faith and the false comfort they draw from circumstances, inviting them again to trust in the promise of God through faithful obedience.

Luke 16:1-9. Jesus shares a story about a crooked manager who receives his master's praise. The manager uses his master's goods to secure a future for himself. Hear how Jesus instructs His disciples and us to how to live.

Pastor Ken Hart preaches on Hebrews 11:13-16 and reminds us that the city of hope is a reality we cling to by faith now that will one day be fully realized and experienced in its fullness.

Romans 6:19-23. We tend to think of ourselves as free people, especially living in America. However, when it comes to the spiritual realm, that's not the case.

Romans 6:1-11. Paul responds to a misguided use of logic and redirects his readers to find comfort in the finished work of Christ.

Isaiah 58:6-12. What we believe affects what we do. In this passage, God corrects His people's errant view on good works and reorients them to a proper focus. We don't do good works for God to bless us. God uses us to bless others through our good works and in the process, He promises to satisfy and sustain us.

Micah 7:18-20. The undeserved grace of God leads Micah to end his book with an unexpected ending. Because of God's unfailing faithfulness, we can expect the unexpected and undeserved and rest securely in God.

I John 3:13-18.

John 8:48-59. Pastor Hart shares a message on Trinity Sunday.

Joel 2:28-32. Pentecost was a reason for celebration. As devout Jews gathered in Jerusalem for the feast, they experienced a fulfillment of a long-anticipated prophecy. Pentecost remains a reason to celebrate as the Holy Spirit continues to be poured out on all mankind.

Ezekiel 36:25-27. This world is a place full of broken hearts. We need more than a good mending; we need new hearts. In this passage the Lord promises to do His work and since He has promised, we can be confident that He will do it. 

James 1:22-27. I would assume we've all been there where we've audibly heard something but didn't listen to it. We call it selective hearing. Unfortunately, we can take a similar approach to the Word of God. The Word of God was given not just to be heard but to be done. What does it mean to "do" the Word of God? James explains that for us.
