John 16:5-15. Jesus informs His disciples He's leaving them but something better is coming and explains what is that something better.

John 16:16-22. Jesus gives His disciples something to sustain them in the dark days ahead that also sustains us in our little while here on earth.

Ezekiel 34:11-16. God promises to shepherd His flock, even when shepherds fail.

I John 5:4-12.

Paul writes to the Corinthian church to remind them of the ramifications of the resurrection. As a congregation, they winked at the glaring problem in their midst, not only were they winking; they boasted in it. The Holy Spirit places before their attention the crucified Passover Lamb and calls for a response.

Psalm 102. Where do you go when you're afflicted? Who will listen to you? Who will act on your behalf? The Holy Spirit gives us a place to go when we experience affliction, Psalm 102.

Zechariah 9:9-10. Palm Sunday. The LORD speaks through the prophet Zechariah, announcing the arrival of the King and the peace He would come to bring. On Palm Sunday we remember the arrival of Jesus and all that He accomplished to bring us peace, and we look forward to His return where we will see the full extent of the peace He accomplished.

Luke 1:26-38. Mary is greeted by an unexpected visitor with news that the long-expected promise is about to be fulfilled. Because this long-expected promise has been fulfilled, we can know our standing before God.

Galatians 4:21-31. We take a step back in time to see the promise that can be trusted for all time in all places. 

Pastor Hart takes us through one of the most recognized psalms as we continue our way through the penitential psalms this Lenten season.

Luke 11:14-28. Jesus casts out a demon proving to the crowds that though the devil is strong, He is stronger. In response to the Pharisees accusation that Jesus is in league with the devil, Jesus tells the crowds the fate of divided households.

Pastor Hart shares the Lenten message on Psalm 32.

Isaiah 45:18-25. In this passage, God breaks the societal norms to invite outsiders in by calling sinners to salvation, and not just salvation, but righteousness as well.

Psalm 38. David is experiencing an inner turmoil over his sin, which has also led to significant outer turmoil. Is there any solace to be found when you find yourself surrounded by turmoil?

Matthew 4:1-11. Jesus is led to be tempted by the devil. In His temptation, Jesus remains steadfast and committed to faithfully following His Father. Jesus' temptation has more significance to us than simply identifying with our weakness; Christ is faithful when we are not and is actively pursuing substance to address our weakness.

Psalm 6:1-10. Where do you turn when conviction of sin comes? Is it really safe to approach the LORD who is holy, holy, holy? Will the LORD accept our prayer? David expresses the depths of which his sin affected him and exhibits a right way to handle conviction.

1 Peter 3:18-22. When suffering comes and we're faced with the question, "Is this worth it?" to what do we cling? How can we know that what we're suffering for is worth it? Peter encourages believers to endure suffering by pointing to them to Jesus.

2 Corinthians 12:1-10. In light of others boasting about their reasons to be respected and heard, Paul reveals the secret that has kept him going for all these years, as well as reiterating once again, the sufficiency of Christ in all things.

1 Corinthians 9:24-27. We're constantly moving toward something, whether that's getting to the next appointment or getting through the day, we're constantly in motion. We are working toward a goal. What is it that we're after? What are we willing to sacrifice to pursue that goal? And, is it worth it? Paul points us toward the big picture to encourage all believers to strive towards an imperishable...

Jeremiah 17:5-10. "Trust me." Even those the phrase is meant to alleviate our fears, those words don't always make us feel any better because we know sooner or later, people will let us down. The degree to which we're let down varies each instance however, when it comes to our salvation, the consequences are eternal. Who or what do you trust for salvation?

Isaiah 43:1-3. Kevin Hoops shares a message encouraging us to focus on the God who both forms and keeps us.

Matthew 8:1-13. Two men who had no business approaching Jesus and confident of Christ's ability to meet their need, bring their need to Jesus. The only uncertainty through it all is this, "Is Jesus willing?" We apply that same truth to our own circumstances as we approach Jesus in all our wretchedness asking ourselves, "is Jesus willing to meet my need?"

Deuteronomy 18:15-22. The Israelites are about to enter the Promised Land. Moses won't be joining them. Moses speaks of another prophet who will be raised up after him to lead them in the truth.

Luke 2:41-52. In a rare accounting of Jesus' childhood, we read about His remaining in the temple in Jerusalem while His family traveled back home. Confusion follows. How could Jesus do this to His parents? What was He up to anyway?

Zechariah 2:1-13. Protection and security are things we try to manufacture for ourselves, often looking to things that can only provide a mirage of security. In this passage, the LORD calls His people to seek protection and security in His presence.
