We discuss Barchie, the lackluster Joseph Conway plot, Veronica being brought in by her parents, why the serpents are happy to move schools, Jughead throwing a fit about his serpent jacket, and Chic being the creepiest dude on the planet. An interesting episode setup unfortunately doesn’t mean a great episode and we both find the episodes a bit weak. We discuss the thin horror premises, guest start Tony Todd, bad depictions of gay romance, Alice stepping back into her snake skin, the infamous serpent dance & unpack what makes an interesting relationship conflict. Our amazing cover art is by vedrinic and you can follow them at h...

We discuss Nick St Clair, the background production for writing Cheryl's plotline, the episode coming out around the Harvey Weinstein allegations & writing well rounded women characters. There's also still plenty of fun as we talk through Alice stepping into her se...

What a way to end the season. Riverdale really sticks the landing with both the reveal of Jason's killer and a finale episode dedicated to character arcs. We talk about how well everything is tied up, how gorgeous these episodes continue to look, Betty's great speech, and review how each of the characters has (and hasn't) grown over the season.  Our amazing cover art is by vedrinic...

We ask why there's suddenly more old timey technology around, delight in the punny name of spookyspaghetti.com, quickly tidying up season 1 loose ends, question the methods of the returning Dr. Sullivan, ask why th...
