The Last Acolyte For Truth 26.01.2017 4:21
With the continued war on critical thinking, facts, evidence and science around the globe, the Earth slowly descends into a long new Dark Ages. A few societies try to fight for truth, but one by one they are extinguished. Finally, in the not too distant future, the last acolyte for truth stands alone. It is a stark moment for humanity, before our ultimate extinction. ----------------- Art: "Blue A...
Katoomba Bus Shelter 22.01.2017 4:11
I was recently (Jan 2017) in Katoomba, in The Blue Mountains, New South Wales, Australia. I loved the fact that one of the bus shelters looked this good. Incidental music, for incidental art.

Voices 15.01.2017 2:46
I created the bulk of this track back in August 2016, for a collaboration which fell through. So tonight I dusted it off and added a bass line using loops. The lead guitar is played manually in Logic Pro X, as are the backwards metal and various other "voice" tracks. The drums are an Apple drummer track, customised by me.
The Dark Gift Of Creativity 15.01.2017 3:49
I was thinking about Syria...all the suffering. I couldn't think of anything useful to say in the face of such industrial scale devastation, so I'll leave that there. And to be honest, I like heavy music, and dark music...and this is both. I added the Middle Eastern sounds to reflect the darkness of my thoughts there. Maybe I'm just drawn to it...dunno. In the end I decided to dedicate the track t...
Nightstalker - Strange Torment - with dacca 14.01.2017 2:02
I've always enjoyed my brother Pete's music, and here I've added a couple of extra guitar tracks to "Nightstalker". Here's the original by Strange Torment. https://soundcloud.com/strangetallsongs/04-nightstalker from their album Strange Torment: https://soundcloud.com/strangetallsongs/sets/strange-torment-album-by-strange-torment Pete Coutts and his friend Andy Wiggins were in a few bands in the 9...

Who Let The Synths Out? 09.01.2017 7:16
My little tribute to the amazing Daft Punk. Created using glitch pads from Novation Launchpad, and two manually played lead synths. I hope I did it some justice. ------------ Art: Daft Punk ? green - HRC Punta Cana https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Daft_Punk_%3F_green_-_HRC_Punta_Cana.jpg

Ice-Nine 03.01.2017 8:26
Ice-nine is the name of an unusual water molecule in the "funny" doomsday story "Cat's Cradle" by American Humanist and science-fiction author Kurt Vonnegut. "If one molecule of this unusual water came in contact with a regular molecule of water, the regular molecule would turn to ice-9. This happened over and over again, in geometric progression." James Rickards. If one molecule of ice-nine escap...
Once More Around Our Star 01.01.2017 3:50
I was in a Pink Floyd kind of mood, and this track is the result. All standard GarageBand instruments. Every year, ignoring for the moment the movement of our Solar System around the centre of the Milky Way Galaxy, you travel roughly 586 million miles as we orbit our star. That's almost 1.6 million miles every day, or 18.5 miles per second. Here we go again, for another year! --------- Image: ISS-...

A Year Of Fallen Heroes 29.12.2016 3:33
What a sad year 2016 has been for fallen heroes!
