Photograph taken by NASA's Hubble telescope in the 1990s. This plantetary nebula was discovered in 1947 by German astronomer Rudolph Minkowski. In creating the track I felt a poetry and majesty, and felt that this image captured the feeling well. All instruments played manually by me in Logic Pro X.

I couldn't finish my set of musical tributes to HBO's marvellous Westworld series 1 without a track dedicated to the character Ford played with subtlety and menace by Welsh actor Sir Anthony Hopkins. In the track I try to portray a certain hesitancy and poignancy in relation to the 'hosts' before the bells and the choir kick in to give a sense of finality. I love old synth sounds, and I love stories involving space, and the ability of humans to survive in extraordinary circumstances. So, in this track, I did my best to represent all three, all the time thinking that my mobile phone (cell phone) has more computing power than the whole Apollo program.

Blocs Wave released an update this week that lets you use Novation Launchpad packs in Blocs Wave. Given I have tons of Novation Launchpad packs, this was pretty exciting for me! So this tracks see me using a mix of Novation Launchpad and Blocs Wave 80s synth leads, synth packs, analogue percussion...and some GB rock guitar dacca style!
