Somehow I managed to play around with English Medieval music and Traditional Chinese music to achieve what sounded like cultural harmony to me. It's not a political statement, it's a musical statement. The world would be better off with more musicians and fewer politicians. I freely admit that I knew nothing of Beltane prior to creating this track. It's the Anglicised name for the Gaelic May Day festival popular in Ireland, Scotland and The Isle Of Man. This track started with the synthesiser, followed by an electronic drum kit track then an alternative rock drum kit track both of which followed the synth at different moments throughout the track. The mallets were added last, and seemed to add to a sense of otherness I felt as a I created the track.
