I used two Logic Pro X synths to create a deep and infinite track in which I could then use a quiet and almost lyrical synth to be the "small voice" alone in the vastness of the universe.

This is a retitled recut of my track Force Majeure https://soundcloud.com/dacca/force-majeure, done in Logic Pro X. I've added a bunch of dub loops and dub bass synths (played manually). I like it, because it has attitude and says...I don't care what you think. ------------ The photograph is me doing a Maori haka back in 2015, in New Zealand.

The reggae/dub mix was laid down using Blocs Wave, with added GarageBand FX over everything. The vocals were done using Voice Synth, some on "normal" setting (so, my normal voice) some on "evil" setting or "announcer" setting, and double-tracked/staggered for effect. The title of this track is inspired by a quote from Thomas Robert Malthus (see below). Malthus is often depicted as a prophet of doom, but he was a realist who understood the power of a single seed. I was thinking about atoms and electrons, and quantum entanglement (what Einstein referred to as "spooky action at a distance"). It's a real thing, proven experimentally. Two particles that interact become 'entangled'. Then, separate them by ANY distance, and what happens to one affects the other instantaneously. It sounds like love to me!

As I created this track I got the sense of a majestic dragon in flight, and it was unstoppable! It was cosmic! Lots of Techno beats and a range of quirky synthesisers made me think of Lewis Carroll (pictured, circa 1856). Don't forget to feed emotions to the borogoves or they get all mimsy!

As it developed this track acquired a deep dark pulse...hence the title. Worth listening to with headphones to hear that deep pulse.
