Nahum teaches us that even when evil seems to prevail and we feel overwhelmed, God sees our suffering. He may not act in our preferred timeframe, but He will bring justice and deliverance for His people.

This Sunday, we explore how God's mercy is uniquely given through Jesus Christ. Despite our failures and faithlessness, God remains faithful. His love for us is not based on our performance, but on His unchanging character. As Micah says: “Who is a God like you, pardoning sin and forgiving transgressions (Micah 7:18)?”

Jonah is more than a story about a big fish—it’s the story of a big God whose compassion reaches rebellious prophets and ruthless sinners alike. As we walk through Jonah’s journey of reluctance, repentance, restoration, and regression, we’re invited to see our own need for mercy and rejoice that “salvation comes from the Lord.”

Accompanying devotional is  available here . Just as Edom's pride blinded them to compassion and ultimately to God's judgment, our own pride can damage our relationship with God and others. But there's hope! Through Jesus Christ, we see perfect humility and receive undeserved grace.

In the book of Amos, we're reminded that our own efforts can't save us. But there's hope! While Amos warned of a dark 'day of the Lord,' Jesus became that darkness for us on the cross. He took God's judgment so we don't have to.  

Our sermon for Pentecost Sunday shares with us God’s intention to bring us back home. Just like NASA went all out to rescue Apollo 13, our God goes all out for us. God pours out His Spirit, flooding us with grace, and calling us to bubble over with the love of Jesus. Let’s overflow with joy, hope, and purpose, because Jesus went all out for you! 

God's message through Hosea still speaks to us today. Our love for Him often fades like the morning dew, Christ’s sacrifice on the cross covers our unfaithfulness. God is the faithful One, and in love, He invites us to return to Him.

This week we wrap up our sermon series From This Day Forward with the idea Stay Pure. We’ll walk through common struggles we have with staying faithful to our spouses and find that Christ has made us new from all of our struggles. 

Marriage isn't a game of winners and losers. It's a one-flesh union, where fighting fair means speaking truth in love, addressing issues quickly, watching our words, and most importantly, extending the same forgiveness Christ has shown us.

As we begin our sermon series on marriage, we look at the first of three keys to a meaningful marriage: seek God first. Instead of expecting our spouse to bring us fulfillment, we better love our spouses by being fulfilled by Christ.

As we finish up the Junk Drawer Jesus series this Sunday, we look at the core problem from which every other sin springs forth. Idolatry can take many different forms, but it always leads to destruction. Thankfully, Christ is the one true God, who takes away our sin and calls us to worship Him alone.

We often treat God like a divine party planner, expecting Him to make every day feel like our birthday. But what if His goal for us goes beyond fleeting happiness? This Sunday, we’re invited to trade in our party hats for a deeper walk with God. He's not just making us happy—He's making us holy.

Legalism and Licentiousness are two sides of the same coin: they imagine that humanity can deal with sin, either by expanding the law or by ignoring it. But the Christian message is that mankind can’t solve the problem of sin, but that Jesus does.

During our “Junk Drawer Jesus” series, we’re getting rid of the things that make it hard to see the Gospel. This week, we’ll look at the ruler and how we often believe that our efforts can bring us closer to God. The truth, however, is that we already have the fullness of His blessings in Jesus.

Spring cleaning isn't just for your home—throughout Lent, we’ll be addressing our spiritual junk drawers. In our sermon series: “Junk Drawer Jesus,” we’re aiming to get rid of the things that make it hard for us to see Jesus. This week, we’ll look at the scale and our propensity to believe that enough good deeds can balance out our sin. Thankfully, Jesus offers us the better way of grace.

As we celebrate Transfiguration Sunday, we see Jesus give a glimpse of His glory to the disciples, and then set His sights on Jerusalem, where He would walk the path to the cross.

Ever been at the end of your rope? Have you had that moment where the warmth and comfort of the blanket made it really difficult to get up and move? When Jesus calls, we are invited to lay down the nets, rope, and blankets and follow him on a Kingdom adventure. 

Freely Giving: This Sunday, we reflect on the fact that everything we have is a gift from the Lord: both physically and spiritually. As we have freely received from His hand, we are sent to freely give. We have been blessed to be blessings to others. 

It is crucial for us to continue learning about the love of Christ and maturing into a deeper relationship with Him. 

According to God's Word, everyone is valued, because Jesus' love and truth and grace give us eternal value.

We are deeply rooted in God’s Word! We steadfastly hold that Scripture is the inerrant and infallible Word of God. This ancient and forever truth is expressed in our rich Lutheran heritage, our Christ-centered worship, and our insistence that time in God’s Word is never wasted, but always accomplishes His will.
