We're looking at Paul's poetic hymn in the first chapter of Colossians, where he highlights how Jesus is uniquely supreme over all things.

This week we kick off our series in Colossians and look at Paul's opening encouragement and prayer for the church in Colossae.

We're celebrating Jesus's resurrection this Easter and looking at Matthew's account of it in Mt. 28.

This Good Friday, we meditate on the crucifixion of Jesus through the lens of the injustice of Sin done to us, done by us, and Jesus' response to it.

On Palm Sunday we see the parallels between Jesus' Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem and Stephen's criticism of the Sanhedrin during his trial. How are we like the religious leaders who rejected Jesus? How can we change?

This week we look at Stephen's final argument from his sermon where he's defending himself against the accusations of the Sanhedrin. He quotes from Isaiah who affirmed that though Solomon built a temple in Jerusalem, God isn't confined to it--in fact God can't be confined in human constructions. What does that mean for us a followers of Jesus today?

This week we pick up n Stephen's sermon where he references David enjoying God's favour and asking to build Him a dwelling place. What does it mean to experience God's favour?

This week, we pick up in Stephen's sermon from Acts 7, where he highlights the Israelite's rejection of Moses and God's "living words" and instead turned in their hearts back to Egypt. Our hearts can do the same thing. How do we keep Jesus at the centre and not lose the plot?

This week we continue through Stephen's sermon from Acts 7 to his description of Moses as a leader foreshadowing Jesus. 

This week, we look at how Stephen talks about Moses' life in Acts 7. When it seems like the deck is stacked against Him, God will come through!

We wrap up the story of Joseph and wrestle with God's involvement with suffering and how He chooses to redeem the evil created by humans for His purpose.

This week, we continue through Joseph's story and meditate on Genesis 39, where we're told, "But while Joseph was there in the prison, the Lord was with him." and consider what it means for us that God is with us in the midst of suffering.

This week, Pastor Dana joins us to jump into the story of Joseph and how Stephen uses that story to speak to the the court condemning him in Acts 7. 

This week we dive into the difficult story of Abraham and the near sacrifice of Isaac. What does this tell us about God? What are we tempted to value in our lives more that Him? 

This week, we dive into Stephen's speach from Acts 7 starting with Abraham, whom God called from obscurity with wildly unimaginable promises. Yet Abraham believed; what can we learn about keeping God central to our lives from Abraham's story?

We wrap our series through Mary's Song, the Magnificat, by looking at what she says about the generations that come after her. What is Mary saying about us?
