Pastor Dana joins us in Montague to begin our "Light of the World" series. Through Advent we're exploring how the Bible talks about the darkness of the world that we live in, and how Christ comes as a light into that darkness.

This week, Matt wraps up our series in Ecclesiastes by giving us an overview of the book, and reminding us that there IS something new under the sun!

This week, we build off of what we explored last week: That Jesus is the Perfect Judge with will one day bring about perfect justice. This week we examine what it looks like to live out justice in the present as followers of Jesus.

We live in a world tainted by sin which manifests as injustice. As we read the Teacher’s disillusionment about justice, we ask how Jesus is the bringer of true and perfect justice.

This week we look at the Teacher’s words about the disappointment of being rich. We look together at Jesus’ words about money from the Sermon on the Mount and how everything we’re hoping wealth to provide is actually found in him.

Like King Solomon, we’re used to a life where we feel entitled to a constant state of pleasure. What is the place of pleasure in the life of a disciple of Jesus?

What do you do for a living? The question either makes us beam with pride or cringe in embarrassment. This week, we allow the Teacher in Ecclesiastes to deconstruct how we place our identity in our work, and see how Jesus invites us into a life of working in line with the coming Kingdom.

Whether it’s the old iPhone paperweight in in your junk drawer or the “yesterday’s news” of a former world record holding athlete; the Teacher of Ecclesiastes shows us how Achieving and maintaining Status is “hevel”: like chasing after the wind. Where do we find hope when we constantly feel like we’ll be forgotten or replaced by someone better?

This week we look at The Teacher’s reflections on Wisdom: That it’s good, but it too is meaningless and has its limits.

This week we begin our series in Ecclesiastes, journeying through The Teacher’s deconstruction of meaning, and rebuilding with Jesus.

We continue our Summer waterfront series: I Am. Jesus, in being confronted by the religious leaders in Jerusalem claims to be "The Light of the World."

We treat things differently when we imagine them as disposable. This week, we explore God's plan for cosmic redemption and how His restoration of His creation impacts how we treat it now.

This week in our Holy Land series, we look at God creating humans in his image to rule and subdue his creation. What does that mean, and how have we failed to do it? If Jesus is the perfect Image of God, how does he show us what it looks like to rule creation his way?

This week we start our new series Holy Land, where we explore what the Bible says about God's creation, our place in it, and our responsibility for it.

This week we wrap up our series through Colossians with Paul's final words to the Colossian church and his list of goodbyes. We learn about the importance of living like Christ in how we speak to those outside and inside the church.

This week, we continue in our Colossians series by tackling a passage that can be quite awkward for us to read as 21st century Canadians. Instead of seeing this passage as a battleground, what if we took a step back and tried to understand how Paul is speaking into the culture and family structures of his day?
