God delights to save us and exalt us! His love for us makes that work a glory to Him! I think someday when we return to Him we will be astonished to see how nearly everything that He orchestrated in our lives was for that exact purpose!

When Moses combined his faith with the power of calling upon the name of Christ, he obtained strength beyond his own. We too, when we pray in the name of Jesus Christ are calling upon that same power to add strength to our faith as well.

When we come to a greater understanding of Who we are and Whose we are, it gives us greater power over Satan's "Son of Man" moments.

I always marvel how, in this moment, when God could have told or taught Moses anything, the first thing that God wants Moses to know is Who he is, and whose he is.

What can we learn about our Heavenly Father's desire for us from the mention here that He brings Moses into His Glory? 

I love that Abraham teaches us that there were MANY noble and great ones. It's my belief that we were among the noble and great and that our Father in Heaven sent us here with a divine mission and purpose to fulfil. Today we talk a little bit about the Old Testament and why we should be super excited to learn the doctrines and principles there this year!

As we give and receive gifts from those we love today, let's pause for a moment to reflect on the sacred gifts that the Savior offers us.

Because of Christ, we have hope, we have joy, we have light. 

As we study the reaction of Mary when the angel comes to her, we can learn more about how to say to the Lord, "Here I am Lord." 

As we approach the Savior, this Christmas and always, may we be like the Wisemen, and present to Him a worthy gift.

As we learn about the shepherds, what can we learn about their desire to "make haste" to find Christ. 

Every single day, multiple times a day, we make choices that determine if we will have room for the Savior. Although we are called upon to defend the doctrines of the family, I think it is vital to understand the difference between defending doctrine and weaponizing doctrine. And in defending truth, kindness, charity and love should always be our guides.

I love that this paragraph tells us how we can have a family that not only CAN be together forever, but that WANTS to!

God gave Adam and Eve the command to multiply and replenish the Earth, in part, to help him carry forth His Plan of Salvation. Our families are central to God's plan for us. Our families allow us to to learn the structure of God's family in a safe environment.

Although we are given the promise that a prophet of God will never lead us astray, that doesn't mean that a prophet will never say or do anything that we don't like or don't understand. Taking those things back to God is critically important. And trusting that "we believe that [God] will YET reveal many great and important things" is vital!
