Today we learn from the Egyptians and the Children of Israel how when your forget to look to the Lord in every thought it is easy to forget all the great things that He has done for you, and will do for you!

Is it any wonder that the Savior, who taught so much in symbols, would fill the Old Testament with symbols of His atonement? Today we are going to talk symbolism and how we can apply it to us. 

Maybe even more importantly that looking at plagues 3-9 is seeing the repetition of God through His authorized servants! As we approach conference weekend may we look for and be riveted by the law of the witnesses that is invoked through the mouths of God's servants.  

Today we discuss God's show of power over the Egyptian gods, and we discuss our natural man tendencies to dismiss the miracles of God as coincidence or luck

As we begin studying the plagues of Egypt we can better see that God is not a God of coincidence, but a God of divine design. 

When Moses and Aaron first went before the Pharaoh, Pharaoh told them that he didn't know God. Knowing God means following Him more closely. In the next few attempts we see God showing Pharaoh who He really is. 

Today we see God declare Moses as His prophet and Aaron as the spokesman, it makes me wonder, in our day, do we see and truly accept the prophets as God's mouthpiece? Or do we look to other sources to act as God's spokespeople?
