The Abbotsford Canucks captured their first Calder Cup championship in franchise history with a game 6 3-2 victory over the Charlotte Checkers. I welcome Russell Holiday of n0thing is perfect to recap the game and to talk about his amazing livestreams throughout the AHL playoffs.

We quickly covered a few topics including Conor Garland and Team USA winning the gold medal in the World Hockey Championships, and the Abbotsford Canucks playing in a do-or-die game 5 on Monday. With Rich Tocchet's departure, the Vancouver Canucks will be looking for their fourth coach in four years. I break down Jim Rutherford's remarks, I talk about some of the candidates, and most importantly, I talk about what all this means for the future of the franchise.

With the news that Mike Sullivan and the Pittsburgh Penguins have parted ways, does that open the door to a return to Vancouver for Sullivan? I also explored some of the believed sticking points in the Canucks' negotiations with Rick Tocchet.
