We disregard and rob God of his glory, so God withdraws his glory, eliminates alternative glories, and chases us with his glory, till we reconnect with his glory. 

We continued our study in 1 Samuel by witnessing Samuel's origin story. His devotion to the Lord set him apart as one who would be useful to God's purposes. 

Pastor Joey starts our series in Samuel, beginning with Hannah, a barren woman living in a dreary time. Yet, God hears and responds and breaks in.

As we close out our series in The Sermon on the Mount, Pastor Joey teaches on where a durable life comes from. A solid foundation to our life comes from doing what we hear from Jesus, not just hearing.      

Jesus summarizes his Kingdom Law through the Golden Rule and provides warnings about the narrow gate and false prophets. Will we obey Jesus' ethic and follow his way? Or choose our own way?

God has promised to meet our needs. He has also promised to give us what we want. How do we hold to this promise, even though we haven't received everything we've wanted? 

You judge me. I judge you. How can the endless cycle stop? Jesus has an answer.

Jesus wants to break us off from thinking and behaviors of worry and anxiety. His will for us is peace.
