CISN in the Morning

We hear from Vanessa, who just can't get her 20 month old son to sleep for more than a couple hours at a time. She’s tried everything, but nothing works. Maybe a tip from a listener that's gone through the same thing will lead to a breakthrough. Also, we chat about bikes, and make a call down to the states! 

We chat about Sam Hunt's crazy story about winning back his wife, and chat about the lengths you've gone for love. We review the weekend and play "Who Do You Trust?" and end up talking about minivans in the last half of the show!

On the eve of the Father's Day weekend, we celebrated on of any dad’s best features, the dad joke. We also debuted a new feature called "Freaky Friday" where Matt and Jack "switch" bodies. Plus the Friday edition of Redneck News is not to be missed!

A young fella who wanted to remain anonymous gave us a call, he wanted to ask if he should confront his dad's best friend who he now suspects might be his real dad. We also talk about your dad's favorite piece of gross clothing. Plus we t-up the big Dad's Day Croc Walk!  

With Sears department stores not doing so hot, and looking like they may go the way of Zellers, we chat about those things we miss that aren't around anymore. We also have a very special guest on late in the show to talk about their recent CCMA Hall of Fame announcement! 

How many dads take up longboarding in their 30's? Apparently a lot! We talk about the stuff your dad is "too old" for but does anyway. Also, we talk about dating and if It's a good idea to send a follow up text without a response. That and another couple spins of the wheel of country and redneck news!  

With Adam West passing away, we kicked off the show paying tribute to the first ever Batman, and we also asked, who's your favorite superhero? Later in the show we debuted a new bit called, "My Kids Stink!" We had a ton of awesome calls and texts about the stuff your kids do to make you angry. Plus we played two truths and a lie for Country Thunder tickets!  

Christen has a serious problem, her hubby wears his flip flops EVERYWHERE. At church, weddings, where ever really. We get your reaction and find out how she should approach the situation. Plus, Golfer Phil Mickelson is skipping a major tourney to go to his daughter’s grad, so we chat about the big event you missed!

We kicked off the show talking about everyone’s old piece of technology, the VCR. We find out that rental stores are still a thing here in Alberta too! Also, we chatted about dating turn offs when you went to that other persons house. And boy, did we ever get some weird phone calls.  

We had another dynamtie additon of Redneck News with the kid getting stuck in the claw machine. That, and we talk about the hot topic story of the week, the Breton High School and the dress code madness. 

Chris's kids have been saying the same thing all summer, "dad, please stop playing Rascal Flatts on repeat." So you know he was super pumped when Jack and him have the chance to talk to him about new music, being a dad, dealing with kids and so much more! 

Get your candles out, its CISN Country's 35th birthday! Chris and the gang share their first memories of CISN, and pay the very first moments from the station when they flicked the switch. We also talk about the crazy dude near Rimbey who was mowing his lawn with a tornado in the background. That, and we catch up with Matt post-stag.

We took tons of your reaction. And after the two young bucks decided to jump on the roof of the Cinnzeo at West Ed and one fell right on through, we talk about the stupid stuff you did as a kid.  

A new study shows that over 50% of people would break up with their S.O. if they didn't get along with their dog. We ask CISN Country if they would lean that way. Plus, we talk about no sick day streaks after a lady in the States worked or 25 years without taking one. That and 3 more spins of the Wheel of Country and another round of Bullseye!

Good gravy, the past weekend was nuts! We recap the concerts with Dean Brody at the school and at night at Northlands, madness at the Rainmaker Music Fest and more. Gonna be a busy weekend for our little friend, Matt. He's off to Elk Island Park for his engagement pictures. Chris thinks that the biggest problem might be the mosquitos, but everyone is saying there might be something bigger to worry about. We also get everyone ready for the Dean Brody show Friday night and round out the roster for the Scheetz Kool Bus speed dating!   

Chad has a big problem, he's got MAJOR cold feet and doesn't think he should go through with his wedding this summer. He hear from him and take your reactions. Plus, being the storm chasers we are, we recap the storm of the year from yesterday and the damage it might have done to your property. And we also hear from one of our Scheetz Kool Bus speed daters! 

I don't know why he would ever suggest something like this, but Matt thought it would be a good idea to chase the world record for fastest bottle of maple syrup chugged. And yeah, it goes exactly how you would think. It was also National Brothers Day, so we asked, "I can't believe my brother did..." And with city council voting on bringing back the "City of Champions" slogan next Tuesday, we wante...

Our resident camper, Matt, gets everyone ready to camp this long weekend with a quick trip to the wild outdoors outside the station. Plus we celebrate George Strait's 5th B-Day with Chris's amazing story about the last time he performed in Edmonton. And we qualify our first two names for speed dating in the Scheetz Kool Bus!   

We have the legendary Sharks fan, Ty, in the studio to share his story (and a giant cheque). We also chat about the fallout from the family who wants to legally change their 8 month olds name. Plus, with grad season upon us, we chatted about memorable graduation stories!
