CISN in the Morning

Matt was real ornery this morning because he HATES sharing his birthday (today) with Chris's anniversary. They battle it out, while Chris shares his wedding song which is extremely fitting this year especially. Plus we talk about a couple who are thinking about changing their sons name 8 months AFTER he was born.     

With the brand new ATV law in Alberta that is forcing everyone to wear a helmet on public land, we chatted about all the crazy stuff you did back in the day that everyone thought was normal. Plus, we review the Mother's Day weekend and see how Jack's first one ever was! 

The Road Hammers new album, "The Squeeze" is out today! We were lucky enough to chat with Clayton Bellamy from the band, and as usual, the talk drifted towards hockey, babies, and love. Take a listen! 

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! It's the Mother's Day weekend, so we talked about "mom moves" that your mom pulled off. Chris also continues the tradition and reads his very special Mother's Day poem. Plenty of talk about Jack's first M.D. and if Bob is prepared for it or not!

It was a sad day with the Oilers losing game 7 and being eliminated from the playoffs and all, but by the sounds of the reactions from our listeners people are very optimistic for the future. We took your texts of support, and chatted about Chris's experience in Anaheim. We also looked ahead to Mother's Day and life without the Oilers! 

It's back! Chris and his army of minons wearing Oilers orange have returned to Anaheim on the eve of game 7. how many honks for the Oilers can he and the crew get outside the Honda Center at 4:30 in the morning? You'd be suprised! Also, Matt busts out maybe his best Ducks trash talk yet.  

After a HUGE game 6 win, the Oilers are headed back to Anahiem for game 7. And you guessed it, Chris was all jacked up broadcasting live from the airport with dozens of other Oiler fans heading down for the game. We also have another edition of Jack's Hockey Facts and a guess at the Bullseye!

There's nothing more hated to teachers than fidget spinners! We talk the toys that we're super popular when you went to school (pogs rule). Jack's Chiuhahua, Charlie, came in to celebrate Cinco De Mayo so we have some fun with him. And we get you all set for the HUGE Oilers game 5 tonight!

Matt swears his cat is cursed because every time she jumps on his lap during Oiler games the other team scores. Thankfully our resident witch doctor, Chris, was able to chant it out of her. We also talked about McHappy Day, and checked in with Erin Chalmers from Fort McMurray on the one year anniversary of the fire.   

Ann has a little problem, her husband spent A LOT on Oiler tickets without her permission, so we took tons of your advice on what she should do. Plus, we recap your older crush, and talk about unforseen Oiler run issues!

We clear the air with Brett Kissel himself about what happened with the mic and the crazy crowd at Rogers Place singing the anthem. Plus, it's National Concert Day so we spun the Wheel of Country 3 times and talked about your all time favorite concert. And happy B-day to Tim McGraw! 

Chris is still all amped up after the Oilers big game 1 win, so to celebrate he decided to walk the drive thru at McDonalds and order something special. We also hear from Jack again with "Jack's Hockey Facts" and Matt sets his sights on the Anaheim fans with another edition of "Matt Trash Talk".

YYAAASSSS! Oilers prevail again, this time in game 1 of their second round series against the Anaheim Ducks. And you Chris who's down there right now is going to be fired up! We also debut a couple of new segments to the show, "Matt's Trash Talk" and "Jacks Hockey Facts".

Alberta boy and country hunk, Brett Kissel, joined us Tuesday to get everyone fired up for the Oilers round 2 match up against the ducks. We also talked about his brothers HUGE decision he made durning game one of the first series, baby or playoffs? Chris also shares his story about the free beer bandit at Rogers Place.

Can you believe it? The Boys made it to the second round! Now on to Anaheim and the Ducks. We chatted about bad tattoos after a dude name "Peaches" got a Oilers tat on his butt. Plus, we took your ideas of how Chris can spared the Orange Crush down in California when he heads down tomorrow.   

WHAT A HOCKEY GAME! Despite the lack of sleep due to the late Oilers finish, we're still all fired up after the huge Oilers game 5 victory. We heard from 630 CHED Legend, Bryan Hall, and a guy named peaches who got quite the Oilers tattoo. 

Guess who's back from his California adventure? That's right, old Scheetzie! And you know he's going to have some tale to tell everyone. We also chat about your sports superstitions and what we can do to bring the Oilers some luck for game 5 tonight.

Edmonton was pretty sad after the Oilers loss last night. But at least we have Chris live from San Jose to tell us why we shouldn't get too upset. Plus, with Jack's hubby, Bob, spending a lot on playoff tickets without her approval, we chat about the big purchases you've made without telling your S.O.

Crazy Chris and the rest of the Oilers fans down in San Jose are trying to get the city fired up about the Oil, so we check in with him in the midst of the madness. And with Chris trying to give the Mayor of San Jose an Oilers cake, we talk about the worst gifts you've received.
