What is leadership in the church meant to look like? Has God given certain people, gifted by Him, to serve and build the church into health? Yes! Apostles and prophets are two gifts God gives to people for just that purpose. What did Jesus do after his 40 days of fasting in the wilderness? He was tempted by the devil and then His ministry began. As our fast ends today, how do we prepare to face temptation and how do we prepare for fruitfulness?

Our hunger for God is a measurement of our spiritual desires. Hunger for God is super necessary for us and our life of faith. Jesus teaches us to hunger for Him. In today's message we look at several ways we can allow our hunger for God to grow.

i wonder sometimes if we understand just how passionate God is for our faithfulness to Him. In the two passages that we look at today we see that Jesus say there is an appropriate time for us to fast and fasting is a way that we can respond to our passionate God. If you wonder if God values fasting, I think today's message will positively answer that question for you.

January is going to be a month of prayer and fasting here at CFC. Today we introduce fasting by talking about what it is, how it works, and the reason why we do it. Come and learn with us why we deny our physical hunger and choose to increase in hunger for our God.

All the God has done for us is because of his great love for us. God's love is what all people need to experience so they can be transformed from the inside out to be more like Jesus. Today we hear a powerful testimony of God's love transforming someone's life. We also see the deep and divine love of God for people revealed in the Christmas story from Luke 2. Merry Christmas friends!

Are you aware of God's marvelous grace given to you? If so, your life is meant to be full of incredible joy! As Christians, the Holy Spirit not only lives in us but fills us with joy that changes our perspective on life. In today's message and testimony, learn with us and appreciate the presence of joy through the work of Jesus.

Today we look at peace. A lot of people have ideas about peace that are nice sounding but not necessarily true. Listen to what God's word says about peace. It may be a little surprising but amazing all at the same time. Then at the end, you'll hear Brian's testimony of how God's peace entered his life in a powerful and wonderful way.

Merry Christmas! When Jesus came to earth as a baby, he gave the entire world incredible hope. Hope that sin would be conquered, we could be made right with God, and we would have eternal life through Him. But, how does hope work in our lives in the here and now - after Jesus came but before He comes again? Listen as Beth testifies about exactly that from her own life.

Five years ago, God taught me something about the value of consistency. I'm very glad to share it with you today. If you want closeness with God, understanding of Him and His will, a deeper meaning for your faith; I believe this message will be helpful for anyone who wants to grow in those areas.

We finish up our Emotional Wholeness series today by talking about love - easily the most powerful emotion on earth! Through this message we're going to understand what love is. We'll see how Jesus lived with love. We'll understand the power love has in our own lives, the perils of misplaced love, and our goal will be to embrace the command to love. Is exhaustion an emotion? Or can exhaustion lead us to experience difficult emotions? Believe it or not, Jesus was exhausted at times. Today we find out what Jesus teaches us about what should exhaust us and what we should do about it.

This week we talk about joy! Joy is something that we all want. When we zoom in on Jesus' life, we see that joy comes from knowing God intimately. Jesus talks about His own joy and the joy He wants to share with us.
