As we move to a new worship facility which is not the end goal, as we motivate to the future, not to rest but to rally and to move out! we best remember 1) Jesus has said, "I want you!"; 2) Don't bring a knife to a gun fight; and 3) Our Divine Warrior.

Ps 32 - "Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, who sin is covered. Blessed is the man against who the LORD counts no iniquity and in whose spirit there is no deceit." Until we are exposed by an honest look at ourselves against the law of God (The Ten, or as explained by Jesus) we tend to think of ourselves as pretty good people or at least, not as bad as so and so. But as we hear in...

The incarnation of Christ Jesus opened the way to restoration of glory lost by mankind at the fall which resulted in 1) A marred visage; and 2) A lost purpose. It is only in Christ Jesus that we may find 3) Our true glory.

Where can we go in the noise of stress but to faith.

In Psalm 139 we see how David drew strength from the sovereign God who sovereignly loves His own. In this final sermon of the series from Psalm 139 we hear of the sovereign God and 1) His knowledge of us; 2) His presence with us; 3) His creation of us; and 4) our consecration to Him.

When we exercise faith by obedience we may proceed such that we practice 1) risk, but not recklessness; 2)radical faith, but not presumption; and 3) radical obedience. This week a look at Jonathan demonstrated these things.

In 2 Chronicles 20:1-23 we see the response of Jehoshophat when facing uncertainty at the hands of a conquering horde. Jehoshophat responded with Confession, then Confusion and then finally in Confidence as a result of living with a sovereign God, even in the face of destruction.

God thrust Himself into humanity with kindness, goodness, might and holiness and because of His love for us made a way for us to be at peace with Him. As Nehemiah made choices upon learning the condition of the land of his forefathers, we can see from this scripture how best we may make choices as we go on living with a sovereign God.

How do we face the future in a time of uncertainty, turmoil, terror, war, loss? How do we live with a sovereign God? In Part 01 of this new series, 1) What is sovereignty?; 2) Why do we need to embrace it?; and 3) How do we live with Him (the sovereign God)?

What is God like?

What is the miracle of Christmas?

We have the what(s), who(s), and where(s) of the stories but what of the why(s) of the stories which God gave to us? Hear this message. Hear this message of hope as we live in trying times waiting... waiting... living on the footing of God's interpretation of our world and the hope we have in Christ.

Jesus is the light of the world and we who follow Him are lightbearers. Having received new life in Christ, he made us a new creation to shine light into the darkness, His ambassadors. Let us hold fast to the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ and offer that truth to the world.

In the stories of the Bible we can see themes of Light, God's love reaching into the darkness of our lives.

Who is Jesus? His coming demands a response from every one of us. Who do you say He is?

In Christ Jesus, we have new life indwelt by God's Spirit. God sees us clothed in the righteousness of Christ in whom we have power to live our lives, participating in our sanctification and telling others.

Jesus prayed before calling Lazarus from death to life and we are called from death to life as was Lazarus. The prayers of Jesus were of scripture, the language of prayer available to us from the Word by the Holy Spirit who aids our understanding. And more, Jesus prayed for us and the Spirit prays for us and in these things, God has freed us to live daily even in our darkest times.

Our responses to the things that cause us to manifest outrage or fall apart are rooted in something deep within, an enemy in the camp. How might we resolve the conflict that rages within us? Outline for this sermon: 1) The smoke, 2) the fuel of the fire, and 3) an exit strategy.

Poverty: 1) What is it?, 2) What are we to do about it?, and 3) And how are we to do so?

Last sermon in the series on the things that God hates from Proverbs 6:12-19. This week as to sowing discord. 1) What is sowing discord?, 2) What does it do? and 3) How to confront/defeat it.

Continuing in the series, today a look at 1) wickedness, 2) wisdom, and 3) a graceful garland.

From Proverbs 6 we are told that there are six things which God hates, seven that are an abomination to Him. In this series a look at each of these, and this week in regard to "words" and some differences between righteous and wicked use of them.

1) What is the heart? 2) Reorienting/reshaping the heart. 3) Who has my heart?

The allure of pride and arrogance, the damage it does, and the remedy.

We must ask God to reveal the idols and problems of our heart and let Him show us how to live in this current culture and time. We must ask God for and seek wisdom.
