Two major things happened the day after Labor Day, and KEN has to face them both the next day. He smoothes things out with Shelonda, but she soon drops a bomb that draws another line in the sand. As a result, KEN makes an impulsive decision.

This sidebar covers episodes 7-14.  We dig into KEN's relationship with Shelonda and Rob's crew. It gets pretty dark.

A huge secret gets exposed to the group, and the fallout is....tragic.

Things start looking up for KEN, right as he turns 18. But an unexpected situation causes everything to take a nosedive. KEN makes a discovery that changes the dynamics of the family.

Symone narrates: KEN returns home from juvie, with the intention to find Shelonda and make things right. He decides that he has to make some moves to level up in the relationship. But most importantly, he comes to a realization about why he met Shelonda in the first place.

KEN struggles to adjust to juvie life. And when he takes the time to reflect on it all, the injustice of it starts to weigh heavily upon him. Consequently, he acts out.

In this special deviation from the norm, Chinney let's Symone narrate.... Otherwise, KEN and Hotboi get into some hot water, and KEN's bad luck streak continues to haunt him.

KEN and Shelonda get to know each other, and he realizes that she's a welcomed distraction from the toxicity that he's facing at home. Meanwhile, he explains the dynamics of Rob's crew.

Summer is over, and a hesitant KEN has to return to school for his second 10th grade year. On day one, he meets someone who will become a HUGE part of his life--HER!

After some reflection, KEN realizes that he has been failed in several areas in life. Also, a hole has been ripped into the family unit. Now he feels that he has to step up. 

In this first sidebar of Menace, The KEN Story, Chinney covers episodes 1-6. You get a glimpse into their family dynamics. And while they are a two parent household, they're definitely NOT the Cosby's!

Welcome to Menace, The KEN Story. As you all know, KEN was an integral part of Shelonda's story, but he has an amazing story that stands on its own. In this first episode, we're introduced to KEN's family dynamics. And let's just say that the dysfunction runs deep.

In this final Keepsake Box sidebar, Chinney recounts the final outcome of Shelonda's story. Also included is a discussion about upcoming projects and a surprise.

And this is THE END! Shelonda attempts to restart her life after the "tragedy". But in her healing, she realizes that she difficult decisions to make.

Times up! Shelonda executes her phases perfectly, but that doesn't work out well for everyone.

Disclaimer: The beginning of this episode will be very famililar. No, it's not a mistake* Keeping in line with her plan, Shelonda enters phase 3. It's their anniversary, and Shelonda has something planned. But to pull it off, she needs David's help. He's unknowingly willing to oblige.

Shelonda moves on to phase 2 of her plan, which requires her to reconnect with an old friend. In doing so, she learns some unsettling news.

Feeling that she's trapped, Shelonda realizes that she has to come up with a plan. But knowing David's meticulous nature, she knows she'll have to dig deep.
