It's Going Well? - 1. Introduction 25.04.2023

On Sunday, Dave Dickinson kicked off our brand new series in 1 Thessalonians. We are calling this series, 'It's Going Well?' , as we look at the Apostle Paul's first letter to the church in Thessaloniki; a church was going well. In this first teaching, Dave highlighted Ingredients & Imitation as the standout themes of 1 Thessalonians 1. 1 Thessalonians 1:1-10

On Sunday, we finished our series walking through the Easter Season. We had John Dickinson unpacking Jesus' encounter with Thomas, after His resurrection. Thomas was witness to two things; Incarnation & Identity . John 20:24-29

Easter - 3. Resurrection Sunday 14.04.2023

On Sunday, we finished our Easter series as Dave Dickinson led us in our Easter Sunday service. He highlighted three areas of the Resurrection story as found in John's Gospel, and they are, People , Perceiving & Purpose . John 20:1-10;19-23

Easter - 2. Good Friday 14.04.2023

We continued our Easter series as we gathered on Good Friday to remember the death of Jesus. John Dickinson was with us, unpacking the events of that evening through the lens of what Paul writes to the church in Corinth. He reminded us that in order to grasp the events of Good Friday, we are to understand its Devastation and Danger . 1 Corinthians 15:1-8

Easter - 1. Palm Sunday 04.04.2023

Following on from our final part of out Lent series, this week we began our Easter series, as we landed on Palm Sunday. The theme of new life continued, as Dave Dickinson unpacked two main points; Life, But Not of our Dreams  & Life For All . John 12:9-19

Lent - 4. New Life 28.03.2023

On Sunday, Dave Dickinson finished our Lent series. We unpacked the theme of New Life, and how we have to be Really Dead , in order to be Fully Alive .  This was a significant gathering for us as we acknowledged the parts of our lives that need to be put to death so that Jesus' resurrection power can take place in our lives. John 11:1-44

Lent - 3. Healing 22.03.2023

On Sunday, Helen Warnock walked us through the penultimate part of our Lent series, looking at the theme of healing. She reminded us that healing can happen in a range of ways, as we encounter Jesus. John 9:1-12; 35-41

On Sunday, we moved into the second part of our series on Lent. We had Stuart Newburn with us, building on week one's teaching, as he unpacked the theme of penitence; penitence as Awareness & Alignment . Psalm 51

On Sunday, we began a new series as we go through the season of Lent. We had Jamie McMillan with us on Sunday, kicking us off with the topic of temptation. Our focus was:  - Jesus' victory over the accuser - The resources Jesus drew upon - Being the people Jesus wants us to be Matthew 4:1-11

On Sunday, Stuart Hawthorne (Senior Leader of Carnmoney Church) was with us, as we finished our series in Isaiah 61. He was unpacking the theme of righteousness and  worship. Isaiah 61:10-11

Good News - 3. Justice & Purpose 21.02.2023

On Sunday, Jamie McMillan continued our series in Isaiah 61, looking at verses 9-10. His focus was Justice & Purpose, and what Isaiah foretold would be found in the person of Jesus. We see Justice & Purpose in God's Character & God's Promises . Isaiah 61:9-10

On Sunday, we moved into the second part of our series on Isaiah 61, looking at verses 4 -7, focusing on the remarkable hope that is found in these verses. The standout phrase ' instead of ' highlights all that Jesus has done for us. Instead of being on the outside & Instead of shame. Isaiah 61:4-7

Good News - 1. Beauty & Power 08.02.2023

On Sunday, we started a brand new series called ' Good News '.  Dave Dickinson was kicking us off and set the scene for where we're going over the next 4 weeks. He highlighted that the Good News of the Gospel is both  Beautiful  and  Powerful . Isaiah 61:1-3

Beatitudes - 8. Persecuted 22.11.2022

On Sunday, we landed on the last of Jesus' eight Beatitudes, looking at the theme of persecution. We had John Dickinson with us, unpacking these incredibly challenging words. John highlighted that, in persecution, Jesus is the target , the weapon is the lie & the response is celebration . Matthew 5:10
