Been kinda rough the last few days, but I'm thinking things will pick up again into the weekend and the beginning of next week. Gonna give you my thoughts on that in this report.

Fishing is just as active on all fronts as its been for the last week!! Anywhere you go it seems like there are fish to be caught!  I have some breaking news in this report about something exciting I'm fixing to launch into starting tomorrow morning! You won't want to miss it!

One word to describe this past week: WOW!! The fishing has been amazing with different catches offshore, nearshore and in the back country! Listen and you're gonna learn all about it, plus now is the time to start looking at those charter boats to go fishing if you haven't already!

The weekend yielded some good fishing offshore AND (believe it or not) in the surf on Hatteras Island! Take a listen and you'll likely be as surprised as I was at what/how!!

The snowy days kept a few at bay, BUT there is STILL some fishing to be reported!! Yeah, you read that correctly!!

It's COLD and BLOWWWWWING out there but there are still fish being caught believe it or not. Actually some pretty BIG fish being caught!

Little blustery on Saturday so it was hard to find anyone who did anything, but Sunday was different! Seemed like people were fishing all over on all fronts. I got their catches to talk about plus some more information on the Hyde County Decoy Festival at the Mattamuskeet School in Swan Quarter coming up this weekend. 

Yall it's the dead of winter. Not too terribly much to report on today but there is some fishing happening believe it or not! So I got that covered for you. Also there's a huge waterfowl decoy expo coming up next Saturday the 18th in Hyde County you may want to attend. I have the details on that in this report as well.

A Gold Star Catch happened over the weekend on the Fishin' Frenzy!! I'll tell you all about it in this report along with what else was caught offshore and elsewhere. Also I'll talk about something for you to think about, with the water temps dipping into the upper 40s/lower 50s, to help keep you safe. 

Happy New Year!! I hope you were able to ring in 2025 happily and healthy!! Fishing is still taking place on all fronts. A different variety in a few spots so listen to hear more about that. Also a BIG waterfowl event taking place over in Hyde County coming up at the end of the month. I have more information about that in this report as well!

I hope each of you had a Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah or whatever else you may celebrate this time of year! The fishing was pretty much non-existent offshore (mainly due to lack of effort), and that raises a question... I wonder what the fish think when they don't hear or see any boats out there...? Just a thought I had.. Anywho, the trout bite is still on FIRE in the sounds. Listen and...

Fishing still kinda hit and miss offshore but if you go back in the Pamlico Sound... SHEWWWWWEEEEEEEE!!!! The speckle trout are on FIRE!!! Listen and you know what is going on!
