Man oh man!! Fishing this past week has been absolutely phenomenal! Lots of different species in abundance, and not just in one particular spot!! The weekend outlook is looking GOOD!!

Fishing is on fire all along the Outer Banks! From pier to surf, the bite is hot—check out the latest reports and hook into the action before you miss out on those tight lines!

April fishing has started out with a BANG!!! Holy smokes they're catching bluefin tuna in kayaks off of Jennette's Pier (and some from the pier too)!!! I'm back from Ocracoke now and have lots to talk about to start the week!

Another story from the captain's youth as a mate down at Ponce Inlet, FL on the Flamingo Heaboat for Capt. Jake Stone. One day while out with a large group fishing they happened across a small little piece of land the locals called rattlesnake island. Well.... I'll just let Capt. Marty tell the rest...!!!

Coming to you LIVE from Ocracoke with this report! Man, am I having fun down here!! Lots to talk about in the report. April is shaping up very nicely for fishing!

One word to describe this past weekend: WAHOOOOOO!!!!! Yes, there are many firsts of the season in today's report, one of them being WAHOO!!!! If this past weekend is an indicator to what April is going to be like, yall better get ready!!

This story comes from back in August of 1977 when Capt. Marty was Mate Marty on the Sundancer with Capt. Nevin Wescott. The Sundancer and The Fightin' Lady, with Capt. Sam Stokes aka 'Goldfinger' and his mate, the now famous boatbuilder John Bayliss, powered offshore for what would be a fun day of fishing during what they called "marlin season". Been a pretty good week all the way around! Gonna tell you what I think this weekend could bring in this report.

We might be a day late getting this fishing report online but that doesn't change the fact that the fishing is REALLY starting to heat up in all areas! We've made it to spring and baby we're looking GOOD!! WOOOOOO!!  (sorry, channeling my inner Ric Flair)

If this past weekend is a prelude as to what is to come, its going to be a GREAT spring!! Last full week of March is here... AND THINGS ARE LOOKING GOOD!!!

A windy week didn't help us overall on the fishing front (especially offshore) but there was still some action as things begin to heat up in the back country!

Not too much action over the last few days due to the weather BUT that's looking like it might all turn around here in the coming days! Got some thoughts on all of this so listen up!

BREAKING NEWS THIS ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!! Something super spectacular was caught off the beach on Hatteras Island this past weekend!!! What was caught?? Listen and I'll tell you all about it! Plus what's been going on offshore, nearshore and in the back country!

In this story, Capt. Marty talks about how being distracted on the bridge while running offshore can be detrimental. Listen to what happened and you're guaranteed to be very shocked at what happened.... and to who!

Wrapping up this week with some pretty decent fishing and I'm giving you a glimpse of what I believe the weekend is going to look at. 

Bluefin are still the hot ticket item offshore! Got some more details on that in this report as well as how things are beginning to shape up in the sounds!!

Not a super spectacular weekend but there were still some fish to be caught! I'll tell you where in this report!

Wednesday was not a fun day at all, but Thursday made up for it even though it was still a tad breezy! 

Windy day today but I do have some things to talk about from the last few days so listen up and I'll get you up to speed with what's been happening!
