It kinda goes without saying... but I'm gonna say it. Yesterday was a gully-washer of a day. Not much fishing.. actually no fishing that I know of was done but I'm having a great time down here at Hatteras Harbor for the Hatteras Village Offshore Open. Today is day one of the tournament so I got some news in regards to that and I also have a bit of a fishing forecast for today as well!

Fishing hasn't changed too much in the last 24 hours. Quick shout out to MHS Senior Landon Sawyer for catching a HUGE Sheepshead off of Jennette's Pier yesterday. More about that and other tips/tricks you can use to catch similar fish in this report.

Purdy weather makes for PURRRRDY fishing!!! Had great catches all over, plus some breaking news on the cobia front!

The wind slowed just enough for fishing on all fronts to get some action. Nice catches of a variety of fish all the way around. I'll get you up to speed with it all in this report. 

Most of the offshore fleet laid to the dock yesterday due to the winds but the beach and sounds still had a pretty decent day! I got that info for you in this report.

Wrapping up a great week (and a great month!) of fishing and heading into a semi-decent weekend, weather wise. Will that deter the fishing? We will have to wait and see but I don't think it will! 

A day late getting this fishing report online (working out some kinks with the system at the moment) but that doesn't change the fact that the fishing is stellar! If April is an indicator to what May is going to be it could be one of the best springs we've had in years!

A tad breezy over the weekend... those that fished had to work for it but it was well worth the effort! I'll tell you all about it in this report.

Good golly miss Molly!! What a great weekend of fishing! Sunday was a bit breezy for some to go out but the weekend as a whole yielded phenomenal fishing!! If you were out there you know exactly what I am talking about!
