Not a whole lot has changed on the fishing front over the last few days. Gonna talk a little more about that, give you a weekend outlook and also give you the latest from the 66th Annual Hatteras Marlin Club Tournament as we head into the last day of fishing.

Great days of fishing from the weekend on all fronts across the Outer Banks. Another breezy day limited our offshore fishing but the beaches and back country didn't suffer! Still good catches in those areas. I'll tell you more about that in this report.

Good Lord have mercy its been HOT and it isn't even technically summertime yet! Fishing early and late in the day is crucial right now. Things have sorta leveled out this week but that's not a bad thing! Fish are still being caught! Gonna talk about it all in this report plus a reminder about the Hatteras Marlin Club Tournament coming up next week!

Little breezy offshore yesterday so most of the boats stayed close. Still some near shore, pier and beach fishing took place. The back country sound report is still pretty strong. Gonna talk all about this plus the upcoming Hatteras Marlin Club Tournament kicking off next Monday!

Pretty good fishing all the way around over the weekend. We also wrapped up the Big Rock out of Morehead City as well and now we are staring down the pike into the Hatteras Marlin Club Tournament next week, which I will be helping with the scoring so that I'm looking forward to that. Lots of exciting things to come, just hoping the weather doesn't disrupt any of it!

Pretty good meat fishing yesterday offshore, couple of billfish mixed in.. near shore and the beaches were pretty snazzy too. Back in the sound the drum bite was ON!! Plus I have the latest from the Big Rock Tournament out of Morehead City and what was brought to the docks around 9pm last night!

Yesterday yielded some decent catches up and down the beach, offshore and in the back country after the unsettled weather we had at the beginning of the week.
