Pastor Melvin takes us to 1 Samuel 26 where David and Abishai enter Saul’s camp in the wilderness of Ziph while the King and his army are in a "deep sleep from the Lord." Just because an opportunity presents itself (Saul being vulnerable) doesn’t mean God has given permission to sin. Abishai sees an open door for revenge, but David sees a test of his trust in God’s timing.
