Every parent desires to see their child thrive. We invest to see them succeed in academics, athletics, creatively, socially, and so many other ways. But the most important (and eternal) investment we can make is to equip them to succeed and thrive in Christ.

A Spirit-filled Christ-honoring marriage reflects Jesus’ relationship with His Church, glorifies God, and provides true contentment to a couple. Today, we discover how.

Every human has a desire to fill the void in their life created by our separation from God. Some try vainly to fill that void apart from God. Others look to God, but all still struggle with the flesh and the temptation to satisfy the longing for wholeness outside of God. The hope is discovering the Spirit-filled life, and today we learn how. 

Think of all the different words we use to describe how one walks. The different words show that there are many ways to walk, and each of them says something. Jesus' followers walk (I.e. have a lifestyle) characterized by walking in God's light and love. Today we discover the wisdom to do it.

Christ offers a new and better way of life. As we put off our old ways and put on the new way of life Christ has made available, we will enjoy the benefits of living in love and unity with God and others.

The best version of you is the version that looks more like Jesus and most like Jesus. God provides everything you need to equip you to grow to be like Jesus. Today, we learn how. 

In Ephesians 3:1-13 we learn that divergent followers of Jesus are united in Christ to proclaim Him, His gospel, and His glorious redemption. In chapters 4-6, he will reveal how we are to live as followers of Jesus.

Followers of Christ are part of the most amazing entity ever imagined – The Church, and are to experience Jesus together. When a diverse group of people display God’s love to one another it reveals His love to others. 

Christ came to unite individuals in relationship with God, but He also came to unite His people in relationship with one another. Those who are in Christ demonstrate this by loving God and loving one another.

In this section we have a vivid picture of what humanity is by nature, and what you can become by God’s grace. Today, we discover how to how to experience spiritual life in Christ and how to live that life by God’s grace.

Imagine trying to describe the most beautiful sunset that you have ever seen to a blind person. No matter how rich and nuanced your vocabulary is they could not see what you experience. Similarly, without God’s enlightenment you are unable to know and experience God, nor appreciate your identity in Christ. Today, I pray that we will know the goodness and greatness of God.

God promises every spiritual blessing to those who are in Christ. Trust in Christ, receive the promises of His blessings, and give glory to God!
