Once again the Panthers had an opportunity to win a game and punch their ticket to the playoffs, and once again they showed that the team has risen to its level of incompetence for the season. Still, the plot armor thickens for the Panthers as they have one last "win-and-in" game as well as a chance that the Falcons do the dirty work for us.

Coming off two weeks' rest after beating the hottest team in the NFL and resoundingly winning the bye week to take first place in the division, the Panthers showed up on Sunday with something to prove in a high-stakes contest against a struggling division rival. What happened next was all too predictable.

Continuing the trend of consistent inconsistency that defines the Panthers franchise, our team made a west coast to east coast trip home to play the best team in the NFL on a short week AND WON. This Panthers squad has shown they can beat any team in the NFL this season, and finally we have fun, winning football back on the menu in Carolina.

For the first time in 2 years, the Panthers were favored to win a game. In classic Panthers fashion, the team tripped, flopped, fumbled, and totally bungled the opportunity for a statement victory.

The Panthers continue to ascend as Bryce Young and Adam Thielen nearly completed yet another game winning drive, this time against a surging (and far more talented) Eagles team; however, with the game winning touchdown in his hands, Xavier Legette did his best Ted Ginn Jr. impression and dropped the ball.
