As we conclude our study of the book of Jonah we find God making it personal with Jonah. Chris explains God longs for more than mere obedience but seeks to transform us by the renewing of our minds. He invites us to consider what our emotions reveal about our attitudes towards God and to allow God to speak directly to those emotions.

Chapter 3 of Jonah gives an insight into what true repentance looks like and leads to. Chris explores the themes of restoration and obedience for Jonah and the Ninevites, highlighting that God does not require us to be perfect to begin being obedient. He asks what repentance, restoration and obedience look like for our own situations.

Chris continues a deeper look at Jonah applying the lesson Jonah learns about salvation to our lives and inviting all to stop clinging to worthless idols and receive God's grace.

Is Jonah more than a big fish story? Chris applies the lessons of Jonah's disobedience and suffering to the use of spiritual gifts today. He challenges us not to resist the Spirit but to eagerly desire the gifts He brings.

Chris responds to questions from the congregation which have arisen from our teaching on the Apostle Paul's first letter to the Corinthians.

The Apostle Paul closes His first letter to Corinth with practical instructions and plans which echo his priorities throughout the letter. These include a desire to unity factions within the church, make clear the gospel and show how to apply it to practical situations. Chris explores what this can teach us about apply the gospel to our planning and priorities.

Lesley Martin preaches on Daniel 12:3 & Philippians 2:15, exploring what it means for us to "shine like stars in the universe".

Advertising agencies and marketing companies are constantly offering a New You. They offer hope. Much of that hope is false hope and leads to disappointment. Chris explores what is necessary for hope to have a beneficial impact on our lives and offers new life and new hope based on the truth of Jesus death and resurrection.

He encourages us to be both expansive and attractive in our sharing of the Gospel - going out to where people are to reach them and desiring to be so anointed with the Holy Spirit that people are irresistibly drawn to Jesus as they see Him working in our lives.
