Job continues his response to Bildad's accusations.  He mentions several contellations, with grim implications in them.  Here's another warning to be sensitive to the sufferings of others. all theReflections are available at reflections.libsyncom, and I hope each one is a blessing.  

Job asks that question and, likie all of  his questions, it's not answered in that Book.  It is, however, answered in the New Testament.  Verse by verse, skipping nothing, we begin to look at chapter 9 of the Book of Job.  Feel free to check out all the "Reflections" at reflections.libsyn.com.  As always, I hope this one is a blessing. 

This episode concludes Bildad's first accusation against Job, the Sufferer.  Unfortunately, church peopel are often guilty of similar behavior.  I'm not surprised when unsaved people behave like this, but it's more than sad when beleivers do.  Hopefully, this message will convict us and inspire us to respond to suffering with more compassion.  All the Reflections are available at reflections.libsy...

Job's so-called "friend" Bildad takes his turn trying to "explain" Job's suffering, but he's more heartless than Eliphaz, who has just finished.  We learn valuable lessons in how NOT to minister to sufferers from this passage, and possibly to repent from following certain church tradtions.  Take advantage of all episodes at reflections.libsyn.com.  As always, I hope it's a blessing.

Most of us begin well.  We're full of energy and enthusiasm.  But as time goes on, discouragement sets in.  People turn on us and we experience rejection and neglect.  Many even quit.  All are tempted.  But Scripture, from beginning to end, is all about finishing well.  I hope this Reflection encourages us to stay the course.  All the Reflections are available from reflections.libsyn.com.  

On the eve of my spiritual birthday, I decided to do something completely different: no references to written resources, no script, very little editing.  I just quickly "reflect" on my own spiritual odyssey.  Litening to it was kind of frustrating; so many things left out and so many things I could have said better.  But I feel I need to leave this the way it is.  I trust that's the Lord's guidanc...

After the Flood, humanity was told to "fill the earth".  In Babel, they tried to disobey that command.  Just before returning to heavenm Jesus told His followers to spread the Gospel to "all nations".  Have we done the same thing that the post-Flood people did?  Something to Reflect on!  All the Reflections are available from reflections.libsyn.com.  I hope this is a blessing!

After the Flood, the people soon forgot God's power and authority.  They decided not to follow His command to "fill the earth", and that became the seed of further rebellion that we are still confronting today.  All the Reflections are available from reflections.libsyn.com.

Determined to not skip over anything in God's Word, we now look at the beginning of what we call the African nations.  This list gives special attention to Nimrod, who prefigures the coming Antichrist.  I pray that we are all enlightened and warned by this passage of Scripture.  All the Reflections are available from reflections.libsyn.com.

Beginning Psalm 12, understanding that "ALL Scripture is God-breathed..."
