The first actual description of a Covenant gives us direction and hope in our increasingly uncertain world.  Plus, how do we become part of God's New Covenant?  (All Reflections can be heard on reflections.libsyn.com).  Blessings!

God's instructions to Noah would not be popular today.  But then, He's never concerned about that. 

Things have been very different for us all since the Flood.  There's good news and bad news in humanity's new beginning, AND the promise of eventual restoration. 

The Bible's first reference to an altar is also the kind of altar we should use today in the Body of Christ. 

I'm through trying to be "interesting" and "exciting".  My only goal is to be FAITHFUL.  Therefore, I'm not skipping over ANYTHING, and it's been rewarding for me to see how much "meat" is on all the "bones" of Scripture!  There are things to learn from Noah's last days on the Ark.  

In my determination to not skip over anything in Scripture, I've learned a lot!  In this episode, the choice of birds and their responses teaches us about the choices we often make. 

While determined to skip nothing in Scripture, I find so many treasures in the Word, like the times God sends wind...and the times the enemy might.  Also, even the recorded dates give us something to be grateful and even excited about!

There are certain doors that only God can open and shut.  When He opens, no one can shut them.  and when He shuts the door, no human can open it.  

The Flood may have been a lot more than just water, as the Biblical record implies and even geology confirms.  God's Word tells the Truth!

Questions about the Flood are easily answered out of God's own source-Book.

God will not leave things the way they are!  Whatever our circumstances in this fallen world, we can look to Him for deliverance. 

God encourages this kind of crying out to Him.

It's often hard to notice when the wrong people are doing so well, but God understands that feeling!
