I believe walking this way, in the fear of the Lord, is a relational choice…it’s a sold out choice…it’s being all in, all His...zealous, a devotion that drives and draws us to Him. Over and over throughout the book of Acts the text uses terms like…great many, multitudes, great number, increased and multiplied. The community of believers together was impacting their city with the Gospel; the Good News of Jesus Christ…their message was a collective cry of redemption.

God called our church to repentance and it was His kindness that led us there.

The purpose of the gift… the Baptism of the Holy Spirit was for power to move into mission. In order to go into all the world, they needed the fire and wind of the Holy Spirit of God to fuel their advance… so do we. The birth of the Church in Acts was a display of power and intent….calling His people to Himself, empowering them, igniting them, breathing on them…clothing them with Himself.

I think some of the bravest and most powerful hearts on the planet belong to women. The female heart is certainly the most beautiful vessel ever created to contain the love of the Messiah. The reservoir of emotional strength and life giving energy seems unlimited. One of the greatest powers demonstrated by this vessel is the wonderful ability to connect with other human hearts.

I believe the idea of going viral is in the heart of the Father when it concerns the Great Commission, the mission of going into all the world…preaching the Gospel. This mission is meant to be a contagious one, one that spreads from one person to another

Forty-two times in the gospels Jesus is called “Teacher” (didaskalos) and seventeen times he is called “Rabbi,” which is the Jewish equivalent of “Teacher.’ Jesus taught with authority, he used parables, stories that carried a spiritual truth. Jesus taught because He cared for people…Mark 6:33-34
