Psalm 34 carries one little word that excites me…it’s the word “All”, it’s a powerful word, one that covers…well, everything! Fears, troubles, afflictions…ALL covered. The two common themes of this Psalm are… God delivers and God saves.

We need to see our position in Christ as He see us.

The enemy wants to steal our song but God wants us to worship but the song does not depend on our circumstances!

The way is hard… following Jesus is hard but it leads to life…He leads to life. So far in this series, we have learned that our heart is valuable, precious and needs to be guarded…that whoever has our heart has us. Our heart has to be protected against growing cold, stone-like… so it doesn’t sink when a storm hits, when we forget who Jesus is or think He’s passing us by or think the storm is bigge...

Repentance then is part of walking a holy life; it’s re-connecting to God’s heart when we drift, fall or rebel (sin) against His ways. It’s a turning point in our life that helps us remember the truth. Sin wants you to remember your failure, the wrong you have done, but repentance remembers the goodness of the Father and returns to Him.

I believe God wanted this series to help demystify the idea of holiness for us. Although it is wrapped in mystery I do think the Father wants us to understand it better than we do. I also think that we (the Church) have made living a life of holiness a distant thing… something unobtainable and therefore…why try? We need to remember one important thing…Jesus lived a holy life… a Godly, set-apart li...

To be physically pure needs this kind of dependence…to see God as the center of live itself. Pure because it’s free, a life redeemed whose purity comes from the presence of Jesus in our lives.

Scriptures call for a serious obedience to walking as sons and daughters of God…a Holy God. We do this with grateful hearts, with trust…holding on tight to His Words and His ways… The fear and trembling part is realizing (over and over) that He is God and we are not.
