We spring off of our study in I Thessalonians 2 to Psalm 139, where David tells the LORD to search and try his heart and thoughts to see if any wicked way was in him. And it goes hand in hand with what Paul was speaking of in I Thessalonians 2:4.

We find ourselves on an island with Paul, stranded with Barbarians.  He was the same person no matter where he went, because he was confident that what he believed was true. How confident are you?

Before we dive into our study of Jeremiah, we take a little break and look at Jeremiah 36, and talk about why we believe in the preservation of scripture and so much more!

We begin our study in the second chapter of this book, and look at how Paul and the apostles, though they suffered for the gospel’s sake, did not enter into Thessalonica in vain, because the gospel was preached and that’s what its all about!

In Acts 27, Paul witnessed a shipwreck that could have been avoided if godly counsel was heeded to. This story is such a tremendous parable that applies to so many facets of your life!

Are you able to preach the entire gospel out of the Old Testament? It can be done, and  done easily because that’s what the apostles did! And Isaiah is where a great part of the gospel can be preached! Please tune in.

In our ongoing study of I Thessalonians, we explore a passage that, while seemingly for unbelievers, offers just as much of an application for believers too.

Felix rejected an opportunity to escape the judgment of God upon him. How did he do that? He put it off until a more “convenient” time, and ended up in Hell for it. Paul, in the midst of a wavering government, stood firm and unwavering in everything he knew to be true. What do you KNOW is true from God’s Word? Are you preaching it with authority? 

Is comparing Solomon to Jesus Christ a valid interpretation of the book? Is the Shulamite woman a representation of the church? This study may surprise you about the book’s meaning. It offers a clearer understanding of the true meaning of the Song of Solomon. This is no private interpretation, but simply a clearer one that magnifies the foreshadowing of Christ in it!
